About CORINNE COURY
I have been a co owner of a sweater Company for 21 yrs: Rico Hand knits based here in San Diego, which was the direct manufacturer producing cotton hand & loom knit sweaters. Our sales primarily focused on sales to boutiques throughout the USA, Canada & England. Our manufacturing facility, located in Thailand thus the Asian influence in our home, has now been converted into a resort called Rico Resort We have a non- profit Thai Foundation that has supported university scholarships for disadvantaged children in Thailand. Our company scholarship program has graduated 12 kids that are all excelling in their adult career lives and helping their parents; and now having families of their own. I have traveled extensively for our business and am a native of Coronado, my parents' having had two clothing stores here in town until the early 90's prior to my going into wholesale & manufacturing. Now semi retired, I love to take care of my home and welcome guests who appreciate all the details and uniqueness of my home.

Coronado is a town rich in history, blessed with a Mediterranean climate and one of the most beautiful and pristine white sand beaches in the world. This uniquely endearing city boasts innumerable parks, an 18-hole public golf course with affordable fees and club house with restaurant adjacent to San Diego Bay, the world famous Hotel Del Coronado (one of the few remaining beach front hotels in California, and one of 7 wooden building of it's stature over 100+ yrs old, left in the USA). There are unlimited opportunities for bicycling around the island, with 14 municipal tennis courts, boat rentals at Coronado Yacht Club for sailing or kayaking on the bay, surfing, surfing lessons and swimming at the beach & the local newly constructed community pool. Coronado is resort living at it's best, easy to walk around & ride bikes, wide streets and friendly community living in one of the most secure and safest towns in America.

Gorgeous, 'vibalicious' home in the Nado
We gathered in Coronado as a family to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday this December, (2017). With three adult children, (one with a partner) and a niece also staying, we needed something big enough for us all to be together, yet be able to find our own individual spaces to chill. This home suited us to a tee. I'm a keen cook and the kitchen is amazing. The provisions of cooking gear, crockery and condiments is first rate. The dining table is stunning and seats around 19. There's a gym upstairs that I used everyday. The inclusion of bikes to cruise around the village was a fab perk. Corinne was super helpful in settling us in and helping us with our caterer for the big party. There is a really special 'eastern' vibe to the house that causes people to feel at home and in a luxurious, peaceful setting. We'll definitely hire again when we next visit the Nado!.
Our Family was in Coronado for a vacation wedding and Corrine's home was a fantastic retreat as well as an elegant place for entertaining. The kitchen is set up for those who know how to cook well. The backyard is relaxing. Corrine set's the house up with everything you need to get started. I didn't want to leave this most charming and inviting home and wouldn't hesitate to stay again if I were to come back.

Fantastic home to enjoy the island life and relax
This is our home away from home for the summer. Every summer our family stays June and July for an extended period of time, 2-3 weeks just isn't enough time to fully relax and enjoy all the activities the island offers, especially during the summer months; concerts in the park, golf, tennis, fireworks and the famous 4th of July parade. Shout out to Leroy's Ahi tacos.
Corrine provides a wonderful home and every year it is immaculate. The home is perfectly located on the island and walking/biking distance to all activities. The house is perfect for entertaining as well.

Paradise - home away from home - 5 stars!
My family has stayed in high end homes & hotels across the country & this home may be the nicest we've ever visited. Living rm opens to backyard w/ 4 floor to ceiling doors that open & bring the outdoors into the indoors.
The master BR upstairs is large w/ a spacious walk-in closet & equally large master bath. The shower is large. Master bath has a door that leads to 2nd story patio/balcony. Office connects to the master BR. This BR has audio receiver attached to the large TV & the sound system goes through the master BR & into the master bath.
2nd BR upstairs is smaller than the master, but adequately sized and has en suite bath. Also w/ balcony connected. The 3rd BR downstairs is well-sized w/ large en suite bath & french doors that lead to front patio.
The living rm downstairs is roomy, fitted with several chairs & a large daybed. There is a sitting area off the living rm w/ a gigantic daybed & large Samsung TV. Our 2 kids slept on the daybed w/ plenty of room. Could probably fit a 3rd child to sleep here if needed. There's an office just off the living rm w/ a large window that oversees the sitting area & TV.
The dining room flows between the kitchen & living rm w/ large 12-person dining table. The kitchen is well-equipped w/ a good sized refrigerator, large dishwasher, & plenty of sink space.
The kitchen/dining/living rm has Sonos sound system connecting to music sources (Pandora, Spotify, etc) & has configurable connectivity to speakers throughout downstairs. All rooms have lighting controls sensibly labeled to quickly turn on selected sets of lights, including a "goodnight" setting that quickly turns off all the lights.
Workout room above the garage with treadmills, dumbbells, etc. It's connected to upstairs patio that leads to master bathroom. Head downstairs f/ this upstairs patio, and you're in the sizeable backyard, which has covered patio w/ another large daybed & gas grill. The garage is accessible f/ this area and has washer/dryer, along w/ 5 bicycles and extra refrigerator.
A large formal living rm at the front of the house, w/ 4 doors opening directly onto large front patio.
Located near large city park, 1 blk away, & shops, stores, and restaurants on Orange Ave-only 5-6 blocks away. Parking in front of & beside the home, very convenient.
Corinne provided thorough walkthrough on arrival & was immediately responsive throughout our stay. A special place; we hope to make a regular stop for our family vacations to Southern California

In May/June, we had the pleasure of staying at Corinne and Rico's home with our 2 teenage daughters and 2 of their friends. I can't rave enough about their incredible home. The location is perfect......walking distance to everything. It is absolutely gorgeous, and also has every household item imaginable. We truly did not need to bring anything aside from our clothes and personal items. Corinne greeted us when we arrived, and gave us a fantastic tour of the house, pointing out where everything was. It will be hard not to stay here the next time we vacation in Coronado! Thank you Corinne and Rico for sharing your lovely home!

We are located 7 blocks from the beautful 1 mile long white sand beach in Coronado. Located in the center of town we are 2 blocks from the Public Library, 6 blocks from the bay, 7 blocks from the golf course. There are 6 bikes with our home and it's easy to ride everwhere in town and ride down the Silver strand 10 straight miles.
San Diego is America's Finest City!! with the Zoo, Sea World, Legoland, right here, and Disney land 1.75 hrs away.
During the summer months there is concert in the park at the central park in town, Our home is close enough to enjoy the music from our back yard without having to drag everything to the park for a picnic. Fire works can be seen several times throughout the week on our upper breezeway. We have a magical home centrally located in town.

OTHER POSSIBLE DEPOSIT DEDUCTIONS:CREDIT CARD TRANSACTION FEES: 3.0% will be deducted from the deposit. OVERUSE OF UTILITIES: Monthly rentals are given a base allowance for Gas/ Electric & Water.. explained when contracted. If usage goes over, difference is deducted from the deposit. We cannot control guests usage and unfortunately in CA both have had substantial increases. To save on your booking best to contact me directly at six19 two04six8three1. Sorry to have to spell it out there are site changes that are making us go to other measures to reach our guests. SAND!! If Sand is found in our home a $100 cleaning charge per room will be deducted from the deposit. There are hoses outside and showers at the beach and there is no reason any sand should be in the home or the washing machine. Towels need to be shaken out and all beach items need to be rinsed off before coming into the house or garage. CANCELLATION; REFUND: If Contract holder cancels or otherwise terminates this Agreement from 60 + days prior to arrival, the reservation deposit and any rents paid will be refunded. Cancellation of this Agreement from 31 – 59 days prior to arrival, only rents paid will be refunded & reservation deposit will not be refunded. Cancellation after the latest Payment Due Date, or 30 days prior to arrival, No refund on reservation & rents, and Contract holder shall be responsible for rent, and all marketing and preparation costs necessary to ready the Premises for re-rental.
