The villa is located in the southernmost and most interesting part of Cape Coral. It has a gorgeous view of the water. You can go fishing, watch dolphins and manatees from the dock, or enjoy the view of the tropical garden with its palms. The exceptionally large property allows for peace and privacy. You'll reach the Gulf of Mexico in just a few minutes' ride through a sailboat canal, with no bridges in the way. It's a dream for all those who like travelling by boat. You can land your boat wright at the private dock. Villa Blue Marlin was partially renovated by us in 2015 and completely newly furnished. The floor area is 230 m2. The living room and the 3 bedrooms are fitted with fans and TVs. The master suite is furnished with a large bathtub with a hot tub settings, a bedroom with a king-size bed, and two large, walk-in closets. It is perfect for a vacation with two families or a visit with grandparents. Two lovingly furnished bedrooms with queen-size beds are a dream for your children! Our own four children helped us decorate the bedrooms. The spacious terrace has a solar-heated pool and a covered dining area. There is a large gas grill, while the pool lighting makes comfortable evening barbecues possible. We provide beach chairs, towels, a cooler, and a parasol for your beach excursions. You can find a virtual tour at the site, under 'Further information about the renters'.

Great House and Location!
Wonderful home - lots of room, solar heated pool was perfect and many dolphins swam by each day! Close to amenities and very quiet!
Fine house, but extras fees added HIGH costs
My biggest problem with this rental is how much we actually paid for it to have 6 people there with all the extra fees. I payed double (and VRBO won't let me tell you exactly what I was charged. . .so this must be a regular thing, shame), even after getting almost a full refund of my deposit. Watch the fees, know you will have to bring everything you need to use, it all adds up quick.
I rented this house for the master bathroom, pool, and channel but I was not able to use any of those. The jetted tub never got warm enough to fill. I did not call the property manager because I didn't want to bother him on Christmas and I didn't want to be bothered on Christmas, so maybe something could have been done, but I doubt it. There is a kayak and a canoe, but no paddles, so bring your own stuff if you want to go into the water out back. The pool is solar heated, so it was cold. We had 6 days of straight sunshine and on our last day it was warm enough to get in and stay in.
There was no dish soap, no hand soup, no laundry detergent and no garbage bags, so all of those had to be purchased. Also, we hardly used the electricity (ran the air one night) and still had to pay $39 at the end of the week.
The house itself is cute. It was clean and all the beds and furniture were in good shape. There were bugs, but nothing too shocking for an older home on the water. We had enough plates, glasses and dinnerware for our family of 6 and plenty of towels. . .although all of the towels had to be pre-washed by us, using our purchased detergent, due to a horrible mildew smell on them. Overall, we made the best of it and had a nice vacation, but we spent most of our time away from the house in Ft Meyers, which cost us $2 each time to get back to Cape Coral via the bridge.
Great amenities. the kitchen was well stocked and the rooms were large and bathrooms very well kept. The backyard was great. enough seating for everyone. the neighborhood was quiet and safe. I loved it was at a culdesac so I didn't have to worry about too much traffic with my dogs. everything seemed clean and no odor was appreciated.
Some things that did occur. There were some dead and live roaches that were seen during our trip. The pool heater said it was at 81 degrees but I highly doubted that and the pool was some what cold. With an elderly parent a warmer pool would have been better. The beds were all extremely hard. The coffee maker worked when it wanted to work but when the manger was advised, a new one was brought over. Appreciated that immensely. Last thing, there were speakers outside but they did not work which was unfortunate. Over all I was very pleased with my stay.
An almost perfect vacation - would have been perfect if it was 2 weeks instead of just 1!
We stayed at this lovely home for a week in July 2018. What a beautiful home it is. Our dog stayed, too and she seemed to be right at home there with us. The pool was always the perfect temperature. Note that it is deeper than most were where we stayed before. We'd love to return again, but next time would want to stay for 2 weeks. We spent too much time running around and would like extra time to "just hang out and relax".
My family and I had a splendid time. The house exceeded our expectations. Amenities are above and beyond the standard. Nicole and Chris are very responsive. Seamless checkin and checkout. Home, pool and yard was professionally cleaned. Pool and lani was beautiful. Home is centrally located to beaches and shopping. Neighborhood is very quite and secure. We will be back next year - I highly recommend renting. Amenities were fully provided-beach towels, cooking utensils, pool toys and high quality bedding. We drove from Washington, DC and have no regrets. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Great Spot, but needs some Improvement
Our family of 4 (2 parents & 2 grown kids) enjoyed our 4th of July vacation in this spacious home! The neighborhood is quiet, beautiful & easy to get to. The home was clean for the most part, rooms were nicely decorated, beds were comfy, & there was plenty of room for everyone! We loved lounging in the nicely sized pool with some of the floats that were provided (Thanks!), but I think our favorite thing of all was fishing off of the dock! We caught numerous catfish, Jack, & other fish. The area is in close proximity to a Publix & restaurants. We enjoyed the 4th of July night at the Red White & Boom fest & they were the best fireworks we’ve ever seen! There are some things that each renter should be aware of that is not in the listing that should be: the owners of this home are in Germany so when you book the home, there will also be a foreign transaction on your credit card based on how many nights you stay. Our foreign charge was almost $60. They only give you a certain wattage of electricity PER DAY & if you go over, they charge you the difference! For our family of 4 that was barely inside & only stayed 3 nights, they said we went over by $31. The rest is probably more related to the cleaning/fix up crew: you could definitely tell this is a heavily used, older (built in the 70s or 80s) rental home – although it has been updated in some areas. The pool area could use a good pressure washing to get all the dirt & mold off & the screened in section of the pool needs the leaves & pines blown off of the top. There were tiny ants on the counters of the kitchen throughout our entire stay so some pest control may need to be done (not just spraying un-provided Windex on them like we were told to do when we mentioned it). Upon arrival, there was no hand soap in the kitchen or bathrooms, no dish soap or dishwasher detergent, no garbage bags, no laundry soap & no dryer sheets. We had to go to the store & purchase all of these items when they should have been provided with the listed amenities at the rental home. The ice maker didnt work. Bathroom closest to kitchen doesnt have a shower curtain so water goes everywhere. The biggest let down was on the 4th of July when we went to go cook our burgers on the grill only to find out that the propane tank was out & the back-up propane tank was out as well & when we told the property manager, he told us to go get it ourselves & save the receipt for reimbursement! Overall, great home but needs some improvements.
The house is located in the southernmost and most interesting part of Cape Coral. Cape Coral Harbour is just a 10-minute walk or 1-minute drive, and has diverse restaurants, a marina, and many other attractions. The house is located at the end of a peaceful cul-de-sac and is south-facing, located right along the 30-metre wide Nimrod Canal. You can reach the Caloosahatchee River in 10 minutes with a motorboat or a sailboat. From there, you'll be in the Gulf of Mexico in just a few minutes!
