Built on the cliffs, overlooking the Sea of Cortez is where you will find Misiones Del Cabo Beach Resort. All damage from the hurricane has been completed and we have a new road from the highway down to our new guard gate. This is one of the most beautiful, secure and serine ocean side properties we have ever seen and that is why we purchased and fully renovated this 2nd home for us. The grounds are lush with palm trees and desert landscaping indigenous to Los Cabos area. This unit is very private and one of only three penthouses on the sixth floor. East view of incredible coast line, view the Sea of Cortez from the large terrace. The sunrises are incredible from this unit. We have named this condo LA VISTA (THE VIEW.)
From the terrace you can see whales breaching and flying manta rays. This condo has unobstructed view's of the beautiful ocean. This property provides 2 pools with one in the full sun and the other more shady with swim up bar with great drinks and food. This complex is very quiet, relaxing and comfortable and looks and feels like a hotel without all of the people. Treat yourself to a very affordable escape set up with everything you will need for a wonderful vacation. Don't drive to the beach, just get your chairs and towels and follow the path to the steps to the private beaches below. We have a property manager on site overseeing this unit and will be available to you upon request.
The Sunset Da Mona Lisa restaurant is located adjacent to the Misiones in walking distance and has been rebuilt since the hurricane and is better than ever. The top floor has a wine & pizza bar with happy hr 4-7. This restaurant features fantastic food, service, atmosphere and views. It is a must go to. At the top of the entrance to the Misiones is another restaurant Puerta Vieja ,great sunset, great specials, great food and great service. A few seconds south of Misiones look for the Villa Serena restaurant sign, go down the dirt road,Great breakfast & very reasonably priced. The downtown area features many restaurants, shopping, excursions, and more. Our new favorite restaurant downtown is Romeo & Juliett the best food in cabo!! The new hotel just opened next to us called THE CAPE. Unbelievable roof top bar that is opened to the public, just walk next door. Highly recommended. We will provide you with all you need for a wonderful vacation experience. This Unit is 1000 sq ft, and is a NON SMOKING UNIT.

John and I have 3 kids and 5 grand kids 2 mo, 7,5,16. We loved the idea of bringing our kids on vacation to Mexico, and they love it.So we decide to buy a condo on the beach at Misiones Del Cabo Beach Resort. We own a Commercial Landscaping Business that keeps us very busy, Cabo is the perfect place to get away to relax. The climate is perfect all yr around. We love coming here. Our neighbors and the staff at the Misiones are very friendly and fun. Guaranteed to have a great vacation.
NANCY DICKMAN purchased this condo in 2009
John & I have had been vacationing at the Misiones Del Cabo for a few years when we fell in love with everything and decided to purchase , we have met the greatest group of people that live there and that vacation there, and it became our home away from home. We have met and made so many friends here from all over the world. We love that the beach is 3 min walk and the grounds are lush and well kept. Downtown is close enough but yet far enough away. We love it here!
The full kitchen is a huge plus, we can go to Costco or Wal-Mart superstore and buy everything we need to prepare meals at home. The Beach is steps away. Two fabulous restaurants you can walk to. Long walks on the beach. Sitting on the terrace looking out at the ocean and sunset. And meeting travelers from all over the world down at the swim up pool.
My wife and I loved it. The place was in great shape. Nobody to bother us with daily cleaning, as it is not needed. Fair price for the beauty from the balcony, and more! The locals were all nice, even the ones we met far from the condo. I have nothing bad to say, great in every way! Thank you Nancy and John - we will be back!
Beautiful view to the east (although too hot to enjoy it until after noon); nicely appointed place with a good shower (no A/C vent in the bathroom so pretty warm). I asked about construction noise and was correctly told that we couldn't hear it in the condo. Info omitted: major hotel construction next to the property ruins the view overlooking the ocean and the famous arch and relaxation potential because of the noise. Second pool has no ocean view. Food there is pretty bad. Beach is a hike and has no amenities; pictured palapas were probably destroyed in the hurricane & not replaced. Front office boarded up; no concierge onsite. If you're lucky you might find a guy wandering by to help with luggage or directions. Taxis not always available & road to condo under major construction; 10 min hike uphill to only nearby restaurant for lunch. Cabo San Lucas & San Jose del Cabo both have a long way to go before things are back to normal.
My husband and I stayed at Nancy and John's condo for a week. We had a great time and the condo was perfect for our needs! It is very clean and the views from the sixth floor patio are AWESOME! Watching the whales every morning was fantastic! We did not need or use the air conditioner as we kept the patio doors open 24/7! And, we fell asleep every night to the waves hitting the rocks and shore. We also did not need the TV, even though there are MANY stations you can watch, as we sat on the patio every night enjoying the views and lovely breezes. It's also nice having a water purification system at the condo and washer/dryer. The resort itself is very lovely too, and you really can't tell there was a hurricane there a few months back! The beach was nice and the pool too. We ate at Sunset point(above Sunset da la Mona Lisa) and Puerta Vieja and enjoyed both those restaurants. They are within walking distance from the property. We did rent a car and are glad we did, as it is much easier to get around the area with. We also went to Todos Santos and San Jose for a day each. It is very easy to get around.
Thank you Nancy for opening your home to us! You were very wonderful to work with and it was a joy to be able to stay in your home!
We have just returned from a 2 week stay at Dick & Nancy's condo at the Misiones del Cabo. The condo is lovely, tastefully decorated, with all of the modern amenities. Coffee in the morning, sitting on the deck watching the whales is pretty special. We had friends over for the Thursday night fireworks, the view from this condo's deck is second to none. The whole condo complex is well kept, and the staff are very helpful. Nancy was great to work with, and from our perspective it could not have worked out better.
The place was great! Pepe and Luis at the pool bar offered a great stop on the short walk down to the private beach (wished we did this more). The condo is not far from the excitement of San Lucas ($15 taxi) and offered reprieve once we returned. The property is well maintained and the residents are all respectful and quite. The condo is well equipped; washer/dryer, cookware, plates, BBQ, internet and water filter. As other's mentioned Sunset de Mona Lisa is a must! Nancy was super helpful and always available. We rented a car and parking was super easy it also helped keep taxi fees down (the cost for a car for 5 days was the same a a ONE-WAY trip from the airport).
We really enjoyed our stay at Misiones Del Cabo. The condo was very clean and the furnishings were extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and it was great to have a barbeque to cook up some steaks and fish. The owners were very friendly and quite helpful when we needed any information in regards to the area. The private beach was great for snorkelling so no need to take a boat out to a reef when you have one two minutes away. We actually walked to the marina along the beach one day and although it took us an hour and fifteen minutes it was great exercise. Cabs are also inexpensive and very accessible. You can take the bus for $1.00 along the road to the Costco and or Walmart for supplies and the buses come quite frequently. The Sunset de Mona Lisa restaurant is a must for dinner and watching the sunset. The restaurant is only a three minute walk from the condo.
The pool was very clean and quiet and had very comfortable lounge chairs to relax on while eating fish tacos from the pool bar.
I would highly recommend this condo and destination for a relaxing vacation in the sun.
