Very roomy and comfortable and Tony made us very welcome. There is every thing in the

place that you would need. A bottle of good

wine and breakfast food was in the fridge etc.

It is close to public transportation. The house

is Victorian style and we

loved it. Great place to stay and enjoy Toronto. I would recommend this vacation

Place to all very clean. Thank you Tony

hope we return one day.

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay in Cabbagetown! Tony and Steve are wonderful hosts. We really enjoyed the personal feel of the apartment and the attention to detail. The place has everything travelers might need (including some breakfast foods which we really appreciated!). The apartment is nicely furnished, clean, quiet, and in a great neighborhood and location. Perfect space for our family of two adults and one teen. Would return any time! Tip for families: If you have small kids, do check out the cute farm in the nearby park, they have lots of animals and it's a great space for a picnic.

Tony is a wonderful host. He is full of information and has really, really good recommendations for places to eat. The basement apartment is cozy and clean and very comfortable. All four of us slept very well on the double beds (we did not try the pull out couch although one of us did take a delightful nap there). The kitchen has everything you need plus amenities weary travelers appreciate: fresh fruit, milk and juice in the refrigerator, etc. Having a washer and dryer is a huge benefit, too! There are grocery stores and coffee shops and really good eats and a trolley within walking distance (subway is a little farther, but very manageable). Cabbagetown is awesome; friendly, quiet, safe. I wish we had had time to enjoy the farmers' market. The Wi-Fi is fast. Overall, my family of four would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Tony!

What a place!!!!!

  • 5 of 5

Tony was phenomenal. What a host. Had a bottle of wine waiting for us upon our arrival. We were just blocks from the distillery district. If we weren't in walking distance we just utilized Uber. The apartment was super clean and well stocked. Can't say enough about the place.
