White Lake Lodges has been in existence since the early 1900's when the "city folk" would take the train to Woodgate and enjoy the beauty of Adirondack Park. Over the years, new buildings have been added and the originals have been remodeled, but we still strive to offer the same philosophy as the original owners (the Gardner-Cross Family), as stated in their ad from the 1930's...
"We aim to provide a limited number of guests with comfort in a homelike, friendly atmosphere. Here one may enjoy all the recreations of the mountain region including boating, bathing, fishing etc."
We purchased the property in 2004, making us the sixth owners of White Lake Lodges since the early 1900's. We immediately set out remodeling and making improvements and we have been haven't stopped ever since! Our customers come back and visit us year after year and we proudly boast a 90% return rate! Our customers become our friends and we look forward to seeing them year after year.
We feel we have created a very comfortable, clean, and beautiful vacation place. But don't take our word for it, read some of our customer comments or better yet - come and give us a try!

As avid snowmobilers we were drawn to the ADK region. We fell in love witht the summer and wanted a lakefront property. White Lake Lodges seemed like the right fit for us and we have been happy ever since!
White Lake Lodges is not a private home so each home is ready for you to move in. There are no personal items in the cabinets or dressers and the fridges are clean! We also have staff on site to take care of any needs you have during your stay.
My extended family has been vacationing together for 44 years all over the Adirondacks and into Ontario. As we sat together on the front porch of Moose Lodge (overlooking the beautiful lake and sandy beach) we decided that White Lake Lodges provides the best combination of amenities/activities we've found.
The beach is perfect for small children. Bigger kids love jumping off the dock and raft. The abundance of panfish in the lake ensured all kids caught lots of fish, and my husband proved big ones live there too when he landed a 15 inch large mouth bass. White Lake Lodges provides a fleet of canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards so everyone can get out on the water together. The lake is just large enough for small sailboats, and other families enjoyed jet-skiing and tubing. With all that activity on the lake, it's amazing that loons, merganzers, and king fishers are so prevalent, but they are.
There's also a playground and lawn games to keep everyone entertained. In the evening, you can use the firewood provided and sit around the firepit. For those that like getting into town, Old Forge is close and a great to walk around and shop.
Can't wait to go back next year.
I came here with my parents and siblings for a Memorial Day Weekend family get together. Danielle was amazing, greeting us with a smile and apology for the rain. The weather didn't matter because Loon Lodge was the perfect place to hang out together by the fire. Enjoyed a kayak trip and my daughter mastered the paddle board kayak. There was nothing we needed as Danielle had anticipated a visitors every need from cards and board games to two coffee pots so there was no wait for your cup in the morning. The beach was beautiful so we are planning another visit in the future when the weather is warmer so we can enjoy it more. Thanks Danielle!
