About the property

Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

Beautiful 1000 sq ft. 2 BR 1 BA riverfront condo is now available as an affordable vacation rental alternative. We are located in the Charlotte Park neighborhood of Nashville. It's a modest community on the Cumberland River but has magnificent views. Watch the riverboats, barges, herons and wildlife from your bedroom windows or private balcony.

Fabulous sunsets! It's so peaceful that it's hard to believe you're only an easy 10 minute commute to everything... downtown attractions, Bridgestone Arena, Music Row & Vanderbilt. Many Nashvillian's don't even know this place exists! A marina and Nashville's only waterfront restaurant (open April-October) are right next door. The new Nashville West shopping center is less than one mile away.

The condo is beautiful with new Italian tile floors and hardwoods & an all new kitchen and bath. BR's have comfortable beds and a twin air mattress is also provided. Pool on-site & lots of parking is available. We do not have a washer/dryer in the unit but there is a coin-op laundry room on site. We offer cable TV with 140+ channels and hi speed WiFi internet service.

If you are traveling with friends or family and need a second place to stay - please view my other property at the same complex. VRBO Property listing 584200

About Cynda Johnson

My husband (that's him in the pic!) and i love waterfront living... whether it's an ocean or a creek we find ourselves drawn to it. River front housing in Nashville is a very rare commodity and we feel lucky to have such a great spot on the Cumberland. The location is right across the river from Bell's Bend Nature Center which makes the view beyond the river as beautiful as the river itself.

Cynda Johnson purchased this condo in 2006

Why Cynda Johnson chose Nashville

While renovating the condo we followed the antics of 4 Blue Heron who are nesting very close by... we watched baby birds hatching in the tree 5 feet away and marveled at the size of the hawks who glide down the river. The river itself is fascinating too. Everyday you see fisherman, pleasure boats and boats pushing barges that are as big as skyscrapers. We ended up loving this location so much that we converted it to a vacation rental so that we could use it too!

What makes this condo unique

My husband is an artist who also spent 24 years designing for the music industry so you'll find the condo decorated with original art and a bit of music history.

We always want our guests comfortable and smiling... so if you have any special accommodation requests please email and we'll try to help. Hope to see you soon!

I have been staying at this property for 4 years and can't imagine staying anywhere else when I'm visiting Nashville area. The location is close to everything you could possibly want to do wether it be dining, sightseeing, shopping or nightlife and just far enough to escape the hustle and bustle and chill out in a quiet enviroment!! The condo is equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Love it here and wish I could stay longer!!

Perfect getaway location!

  • 5 of 5

This is the perfect place to stay to have the both of best worlds. Only minutes away from downtown, but also enjoy the peaceful river that is the backyard of this quaint condo. The owners left a binder with information of things to do in the city. If I ever decide to come back to Nashville, this is where I will be staying!!!

Good location, nice view of the river.

  • 5 of 5

I had a problem with the secured internet. Cynda came over and fixed the problem within minutes. There is Nashville memorabilia on the walls and regional information which reinforces a country music industry vibe. Just one quick note, there is a variety of wasps and yellowjackets in the vicinity. I am allergic to wasps stings and carry an epipen just in case, however; I never feared that I would be stung. My .02

I would definitely stay here again.

This river front condo has all the comforts of home.

  • 5 of 5

We spent seven nights at the end of July.

We found comfy beds, a nicely equipped kitchen, and plenty of clean linens. The weather was really hot and sticky, but the condo has great AC! The owners provided tons of information and recommendations for a great week of discovering Nashville and the surrounding areas. There is a marina next door with a great waterfront grill (only 0.16 mi). You can rent paddle boards there too.

This is a quiet, residential condo complex. The condo is on the second level - stair access only. We took advantage of the nicely maintained pool, but ate out every night. Being right on the water has (mostly) pros: view, wildlife, watching barges going down/up river; and (a few) cons ... mosquitos at twilight. No bugs on the interior, but bring bug repellant if you want to sit outside and enjoy the peaceful river.

We would definitely check availability here again should we come back to Nashville.
