Highly recommend! Myself and two other college-aged friends stayed here Spring Break 2017—4 days, 4 nights. We loved it and it was exactly what we needed—not more or less. The mezzanine bed is similar to a futon cushion-wise. The area of the mezzanine is surprisingly very spacious—would be fun for a kid or two ages 6 and above. The host was so sweet and accommodating. Try to plan exactly what time you will arrive so somewhere can be there promptly to let you in. Less than 2-minute walk from the place to nearest metro station, Sevres-Lecourbe, which gave us access to anywhere we wanted to go without multiple transfers. We spent as much time seeing the sights and doing so by foot, so this VRBO was perfect as a home base in style and location.
The building was charming, the apartment was immaculate, the landlady was unfailingly gracious, helpful, and full of useful advise on how to manage everything from transportation to food to weather. I would not hesitate to recommend.
For 11 days and nights, it was more than adequate for my taste. The property is compact and came with most of what I needed to "live" like a local. The immediate area provided all my practical needs. The farmers market Thursday and Saturday was a bonus. For my leisurely travel plans, the location was ideal. The property is ideal for no more than 2 but would accommodate 3 in a pinch. The inner courtyard could have been nicer and better utilized but it is a shared space and it contains the garbage room for the building so there would be the occasional noise. The space is kept clean so insect is quite limited. Julia was ok.
The apartment is clean, well-stocked, in great location on the left bank. Perfect for a couple. A little smaller than it looks online, but everything you need is there! Our host was very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
This charming little apartment was the perfect location for exploring Paris. We felt 100% safe in this neighborhood. We even walked to the Eiffel Tower and felt safe enough to walk home in the evening. We really enjoyed the bakery and market.
Julia was great to welcome us to the property and give us the information needed to find our way around. Everything we needed for our stay was provided: washer, electric adapter, maps....
We were able to hop on the metro to get anywhere we wanted to go. It was really easy to get to the museums and the catacombs. I do recommend the Paris pass, as it included almost everything we wanted to do in Paris....including the transportation.
My sister and I stayed here for 4 days while visiting Paris. The apartment was perfect for the two of us. We were able to walk to several of the museums and found a nice market and patisserie around the corner. The metro station, bike rentals and taxi stand were also within just a few blocks. The apartment was quiet and we felt very safe in the area. Julia was out of town when we arrived but she arranged for a friend to meet us. He was waiting for us when we arrived and helped us get settled. Looking forward to a return trip with my husband.
