It's a beautiful place in the center of Rome
I enjoy walking in Trastevere and visiting important monuments
My wife, son 13, daughter 11, daughter 5, Mother-in-law and I stayed here for 1 week. It was a delight. Angela and Elisa are wonderful hosts. We arrived a bit early and Elisa was quick to accommodate us. We quickly figured out our way around using the Rome Transit system. City blocks are short in Rome in comparison to city blocks in USA. Both stops are really a short walk. The most convenient is the green tram that drops you off in Largo Argentina, a transit hub for many routes. The nice thing is that we were so close to everything yet in a family quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the center of Rome. We were very comfortable in our apartment and as a chef I can tell you the kitchen works well. We would go to the local market to pick up fresh meats, fruits and vegetables and I would cook just about every night. It was relaxing, we would go sightseeing during the day and arrived tired in the evening to a quiet home. It was great for Mother-in-law since she does not do stairs that well. Figuring out the transit system and eating where the locals eat is the key to a great time in Rome. Angela and Elisa's charm really makes one want to write a wonderful review. They went the distance to make our stay wonderful. I used to stay in Piazza Navona but realized this neighborhood is better. Elisa, I threw my coin inside Trevi fountain that means we will be back to Casa Glorioso :-). Alex
All the comforts of home .... clean, comfortable, convenient, quiet, safe, within walking distance to great restaurants in Trastevere and 10 minute walk to the center of Rome! Exceeded my expectations, Elisa was a wonderful host, just a phonecall away if you need anything! We will be back :-)
This is a great, comfortable home. Each night I walked up the steps right by the house and up the hill (short 15 minute walk) for, in my opinion, the best views of Rome up Janiculum Hill.
The house is in the quaint Travestere neighborhood and within a short 2-3 block walk, you are wandering the wonderful alley ways of Travestere.
The mother/daughter owners were great to deal with and met us immediately upon arrival to answer any questions we had.
The surrounding neighborhood is awesome and within walking distance to everything -- Coliseum (20 mins); Vatican 20-25 minutes; Pantheon 20-minutes. Literally near everything.
We were 4 staying in the house, there wasn't a ton of extra elbow room, but it was more than adequate and the location was really superb.
This is a clean well equipped lower level apartment on the bottom of an apartment building with new air conditioners. Everything works and its location in Trastevere is 2 blocks from the tram and bus stops. There are many restaurants nearby in walking distance. Elisa is very helpful and offers good suggestions in good English. Would definitely stay here again.
The apartment is a groundfloor/basement flat, and is consequently a bit dark. It was, however, perfectly adequate and the beds were comfortable. The location is ideal, being a five minute walk from the main areas of activity in Trastavere, and also close to a main route into the Centro Storico. We very much enjoyed our stay, and would like to thank Elisa for her help. She is an excellent communicator, and all the arrangements worked perfectly.

We very much enjoyed our 3 night stay at Casa Glorioso. Elisa was very accommodating, both for our early arrival (at 9:30 am!) and our late departure at 4:30 pm - allowing us to leave our luggage there while we enjoyed another day sightseeing.
We liked being in the Trastevere neighborhood - there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby and you can walk across the bridges or catch the #8 trolley (which runs very 10 minutes) into the center of Rome.
This is a ground floor/lower level apartment but there is plenty of daylight from the windows and it is very secure - with an electronic entry gate into the parking area and very strong front door, windows and shutters.
The apartment is very clean and well maintained and we would stay here again and recommend it to friends.
The only minor comment is that they could perhaps use some new towels.
My husband and I just spent 8 nights in Rome at Casa Glorioso. The apartment is convenient as well as clean and comfortable. We particularly appreciated having a washer to do some light laundry in the middle of our stay. Elisa is a wonderful host, meeting us on our first day in person to tell us about the various features of the apartment and tips for our stay (and treated us to a lovely bottle of wine on our first day!). She was also accessible before we arrived and very responsive to any questions we had while we were there.
The location was simply wonderful. It was walkable to the most energetic parts of Trastevere, but still maintained the feel of a real neighborhood. Just wandering the streets of Trastevere was one of the highlights of our trip. We walked 5 minutes on our first day to the open air markets (open most days until 2pm) and bought lovely fruits and vegetables for very reasonable prices. There were also separate stalls which sold cheese and deli meats as well as seafood, bread and pasta. A number of more traditional markets were also within walking distance. If the pastas and pizzas were not so abundant and appetizing in the restaurants, this market would have been our go-to during our stay. As it was, it was terrific getting a taste of ordinary life in the neighborhood. The apartment was also convenient to tram lines and buses which was a great help getting to and from the airport (although we walked to most of the main sites in Rome).
Trastevere is an enchanting neighborhood to explore, with characteristic alleys, antique churches and squares. It is considered the most authentic and lively Roman neighborhood with small shops, artisans, markets. It is rich in restaurants for all budgets, pubs, wine bars. In Trastevere with its medieval architecture there are many places of interest to visit.
