Our 2-bedroom Mana Kai condo is fully equipped with everything you need and is great for families. It has a full kitchen and an open living room with sliding glass doors that lead to a spacious lanai overlooking the beach.

Mana Kai Maui is an eight-story resort situated right on a beautiful white-sand cove of the Keawakapu Beach, one of the best and also most kids-friendly beaches on Maui. Our condo is on the 7th floor with unobstructed views of the ocean and outer islands.

One of the best snorkeling reefs is just steps away, and you are within minutes from upscale shopping and restaurants in Wailea or more affordable, surfer-spirited Kihei. Golf courses and tennis courts are nearby.

We love this place and hope you’ll like it too!

Family Paradise: We really enjoy spending time with our four kids, and there's no better place for that than Mana Kai: clean, safe, kids-friendly Keawakapu Beach, warm waters and gentle (most of the time :) waves of the Pacific, exciting explorations of the coral reef (right in your front yard!), and a cozy condo with breathtaking views of the ocean, islands, and the beach (and your very own sand castle!)

Why Mana Kai: In 1998, we stayed for the first time at the Mana Kai Maui with out 6-months old son. It was love at the first sight: we've been back every year! After 6-7 visits, we decided to buy the condo. It is our happy place - everyone in the family loves it there! It's so beautiful, peaceful, and convenient too. The Mana Kai is right on the beach - we fall asleep to the sound of the waves and wake up to the songs of birds; we watch whales from the lanai and go snorkeling without driving anywhere; we love to stroll along the seemingly endless, most beautiful and uncrowded beaches of the South Shore. We hope your experience will be just as wonderful!

• location, location, location

• view...spectacular! Whale watching from our lanai!

• separate bedroom suite

• clean, internet access, free phone in NA.

• great pool, lawn area for guest only...and the security does check if you stay there!

• air condition in bedroom

Location, location, location!!

We had such a nice stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the condo, the facility, the views (especially sunset!) and the awesome beach (the only thing we missed was a toaster - maybe we just didn't find it).

We hadn't realized that the oceanside of the condo wasn't air conditioned, but it turned out not to be an issue, what with the nice breezes coming through, and all of the ceiling fans. This might be an issue for someone who visits in the summer, I guess?

Overall, I can definitely recommend this condo -- if we return to Maui, we'll rebook for sure!

Feeling Cheated

The location is very nice,but the condo was disappointing.

The furniture and interior is very dated.The screen and closet doors are so rusted they do not slide well at all.The weatherstripping on the front door is so bad that when the wind blows,and it does most afternoons,it sounds like a freight train coming through the hall.The kitchen utinsils are so cheap I had to buy my own to BBQ.I guess most people who stay here do not cook or prepare some of their meals.The TV and cable equipment are so jam packed on the tiny stand that it looks like something from my freshman year in college.The bathroom cabinets are rotting at the base , it just looks bad.There was a patio chair missing a screw and could not be used,what does it take to fix that? The kitchen doesn't even have any drawers so you have to put all kitchen wares in the pantry cupboard which means limited room for food.I have rented many condos all over Hawaii for over 30 years and this was one of the worst.We made the best of it because afterall we were on Maui and didn't dwell on our condo.I guess if you only stay for a week or less and go out for every meal you will be fine here.But for the money I spent to stay here for 3+ weeks I guess I expected a little more and a little more attention to detail.

Owner's Response: "what does it take to fix that?" One call to the property manager. 3 weeks to make one. Utensils are not to your taste? I reimburse my guests for anything they need in the condo. Kitchen is all wrong? The condo and the kitchen are exactly as on the high resolution pictures on the website. Chronic indigestion? Cannot help you with that. What a waste of a vacation..

Best location on Maui

The Mana Kai is a jewel and one of the best locations on Maui for sure. Keawakapu Beach is as nice as it gets.

Unit #708 is great condo with stellar views. The unit could use some updating (especially the bathrooms) to keep up with the rest of the building but was clean and still a very nice unit. Igor was always very responsive if we had any queries.

We wouldn't hesitate to stay at this location again.
