Sleeps 8+ with master bedroom (King bed) 2nd bedroom (Queen plus bunk beds w/trundle) and 2 queen sofa beds. Hotel style marble and mosaic bathrooms include Mr. Steam in 2 showers and jet tub in master. Gourmet kitchen includes stainless professional appliances and a charming breakfast banquette with ocean views. Large entertainment room has 60in. flat TV, bar, wine cellar and opens onto a beach front patio with 24ft of open air retractable doors. Plasma TVs in bedrooms, front room and rec room, outdoor Jacuzzi, iPod and Pandora stereo system throughout house, FiOs TV, WiFi, washer/dryer in-house, detached 2-car garage, bicycles, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc.
Walking distance to downtown Manhattan Beach's restaurants, shops and leisure activities. Close proximity to shopping venues, sport stadiums, museums, LAX and LA civic center. We are a local family that that resides and owns our business here in Manhattan Beach as it is a great place to raise kids, breathe fresh air and live an outdoor lifestyle in one of the best climates in the country.

Manhattan Beach is the type of place you don't want to leave. We live here and so many of us that do feel like we're already on vacation. It's a great and safe community with plenty of sunshine and activities for everyone, young and old alike. The weather is stunning, the sunsets are incredible and the beach here is open, uncrowded and very clean. The Strand, where our home is located, is especially unique in that there are only approximately 200 oceanfront houses located on it making it a most special place to be right in front of the ocean.

The cozy and fully remodeled house itself offers beautifully appointed rooms with luxury linens, gourmet kitchen, beautiful art, resort-style bathrooms and all creature comforts. Walking distance to downtown Manhattan Beach where the local community enjoys coffee shops, restaurants, shopping and local services. Complementary membership (during stay) at The Center Street Club, a private training and fitness facility in neighboring El Segundo. We are also in close proximity to lovely neighboring beach cities in addition to being within easy access to the greater Los Angeles area and other day excursions.
WOW! is the best way to describe the home and location - neither could be better. The home is beautiful, and the view is magnificent. With kids, it couldn't be better: steps to the beach and swings. Sit on the porch and watch the kids play while enjoying a glass of wine and viewing the ocean. Ran on the boardwalk every day and walked to local restaurants. Rest and relaxation abound. The owners have thought of everything, it's like going "home" - just at the beach. Loved it, loved it, loved it, and you will too.
I've stayed in private homes and luxury hotels around much of the world and rarely, if ever, write reviews. However, I was so incredibly impressed by this home, the location and the owners attention and care to the property that it deserved my time. We have made a trip to Manhattan Beach an annual event and rented a few homes in the area. From the moment we reached out to the owners, it was a terrific experience. They are responsive, professional and accommodating. The home is beautifully decorated in a modern meets shabby chic style and is inviting and perfect for hosting informal or formal dinners or just hanging out as a family. The views are stunning and it's a short walk to town and the pier. The small, but high quality kitchen offers all the amenities for a gourmet cook and BBQ for the casual beach dining. The hot tub is small, but clean and the jacuzzi bath and 2 steam showers add a nice touch. The downstairs area opens widely onto the walkway and is a perfect area for drinking morning coffee while watching the Strand commuters or entertaining visiting guests wanting a day at the beach. The art is tasteful and colorful and the linens are a fine quality. Every amenity for a family with young children is included, from boogie boards and a wagon to high chair and crib. And best of all, there is room for at least 3 cars to park, which is a true commodity in Manhattan Beach. The owners are lovely and take great pride in this rental. 2100 The Strand is truly one of the best rentals in the area and we hope to go back to it each year!
My family stayed in this beautiful property over Thanksgiving last year. The amenities and furnishings are wonderful. Nothing has been left out or forgotten. We are headed back for our second visit next month! We have stayed in several locations on The Strand and this property is by far our favorite. The children love sitting on the deck watching the world go by or running down to the swings almost in front of the property. The adults like watching the sunset with a glass of red...Afterwards, we walk along the strand to dinner and back to relax and watch a show on the big screen or play flashlight tag on the beach. You won't find a better home or easier owners to work with in Manhattan Beach!
Beautiful home and fabulous time. Of course the views and location are exceptional but the home itself is so classy and inviting AND family friendly. Everything you need is at hand...just pack your bags and the rest is taken care of. Look forward to our family's next stay.

We have vacationed many times in Manahattan
Beach, but this time was extra special. This home is
so lovely-beautifully furnished-gorgeous artwork
even, yet so comfortable and perfect for my family
of 5. Our friends rented a house a block away at
the same time, and they agreed that "our house"
was the best! We will surely be back again, just not
We were beyond thrilled with our stay at this
property. My wife and rented this house for 10 days
over the summer hosting various members of our
family. We've rented different houses in the past
and this one topped them all as it is apparently
used and kept up impeccable by the owners -
definitely in much better condition than other
rentals close by. Everything we could have ever
needed was there from kleenex to high quality
towels and sheets to a popcorn maker. Everyone
was happy and we had a great vacation. We will
definitely come back again next year.
This property lies directly on 'The Strand,' a 30 mile + boardwalk (pedestrian, bikes and skating) that runs from the Palos Verdes Peninsula to Malibu. It is a wonderful beachside town conducive to surfing, volleyball, and all kinds of outdoor activities. Downtown Manhattan Beach is a lively area with plenty of restaurants, shops and community activities.
