This duplex sits one house back from the sugar-white sandy beaches in the quite Silent Sands Community. Locals protect the pristine environment of the bird sanctuary and aquatic eco system. Our home sits on beautiful Cape San Blas peninsula with the world famous St. Joseph's Bay on the east, the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico on the west with breath taking, true west, sunsets, St. Joseph's State park to the north and Indian Pass (home of the famous Indian Lagoon Oysters)to the north.

A great get away for two couples with two master suites. Queen bedroom and full bath on the ground level along with laundry room. On the second level is the second queen bedroom with full bath, fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and ice maker, dining area and living room. The living area opens on to a sundeck furnished for sunning or dining where you can enjoy an excellent view of the beach. Extra amenities include 2 T/Vs, DVD/VCR, stereo, fish cleaning sink, a closet downstairs with beach toys and chairs & gas grill.

Parking underneath and plenty of space to bring your boat. Dedicated bay access for boating, fishing, or scalloping. Easy access via dedicated board walk to one of Florida's few pet friendly beaches.

About The Owner

Gone Catchin is owned by Randy and Betsy Holder and Clint and Helen Johnson. The Holders have been coming to the Cape since 1981 and the Johnsons first visit was in 1993.We have been friends since Jr. High School. We bought Gone Catchin and have had a great time putting our personal touches on our place. We love sharing our place with our kids and grandchildren and also granddogs!Our hobbies include fishing(lots),knitting,art work,reading,gardening(we have fresh herbs planted at the Cape for your enjoyment.)

Why The Owner chose Florida Main North West

Love the old Florida feel of the Cape. The minute you arrive, you can feel yourself relaxing! Nature is abundant on the Cape. You can watch the porpoises playing and might catch site of a bald eagle overhead!The shelling is great and in the summer time the blue crab and scallops are there for the catching.

What makes this house unique

We have made Gone Catchin very comfortable. Plenty of sitting room in the living room. We all love to cook, so the kitchen is very well stocked.Love to walk on the beach and love shellin.

The bike trails are great. We all love to fish and have put in a granite cleaning station outside. The porch is great to sit and relax--reading a good book and listening to the ocean. If you enjoy music, we have surround sound.

The best vacation ever! So relaxing, so much to catch up on.

I read a book I've been trying to read for 3 months.Yes, I flew a kite for the first time in about 5 years. The house is so comfortable. I thought that I was at home. The beach is beautiful and the weather has been perfect. Hope we can come back for another. We loved it here!

Access to bay and great dock on the bay. Excellent for snorkeling, fishing and scalloping. We also have a marble surfaced fish cleaning area attached to the carport.

Wonderful location! Owner is super nice and is quick to respond to questions/concerns. Screened porch is fabulous for those occasional afternoon showers. Kitchen has everything you need to cook meals.

The house is just perfect. Everything needed is provided, and the beach is just steps away!

We've stayed at Gone Catchin' multiple times, and we don't have a desire to stay elsewhere. The screen porch and outdoor shower additions have made it even better! The house is clean and comfortable and attractively decorated. The beach is just a few steps away, and a small but well-stocked store is within walking distance. Bay access is also right across the street. Whether you want to paddle, fish, or just nap at the house, this is the place to stay. This is the perfect place for a family with kids or for one or two couples. The community is quiet and laid-back. It's the perfect place to enjoy nature and relax.

Relaxing

We very much loved our stay. We enjoyed time on the beach, kayaking and paddle boarding, which we rented from the San Flea across the street.

The house was clean, stocked and has great beach access. My favorite place in the house was the large screened in porch.
