ALoha, Welcome to MAUI, and thank you for considering our lovely condo at Hale Kamaole for your vacation stay. Hale Kamaole lies on 7 acres of spacious lawn areas, surrounded by Plumeria, hibiscus , palms, and other tropical flora,. The complex is a 'U'-shaped property, facing the beautiful Hawaiian waters of the Pacific.

Kamaole Beach and Park III is DIRECTLY across the road from our complex and great for snorkeling, boogie boarding, paddle boarding.. or just relaxing with a good book and soaking up the sun! (Lifeguards are on duty daily at all the 3 Kamaole beaches I, II and III, ) Kam 3 also has an ADA ramp for wheelchair access down TO the beach, , and the park area is shaded, with restrooms, picnic tables, BBQ areas, and showers.

From the condo you can walk to casual shops and restaurants close by. A 5-10 minute drive will take you to resorts, shopping, fine dining, and several world-reknown golf.

We had vacationed in Maui almost every year for close to 15 years. We bought this little peace of paradise and love it due to It's proximity to some of THE best beaches on MAUI, and 10 minute drives to great golf,, with a host of water activities, fine and casual dining , and shopping.

This location can't be BEAT! We fell in love with Hale Kamaole for many reasons, but mainly because it's just steps to the beach, close to shops and dining, and offers beautiful views throughout the property.And, because there are so many sites to see, and so many activities, many within a 5-15 minute walk,or no more than a than a 30 min. drive.

We have tried to make our condo meet - and hopefully exceed - all your vacation needs. From upscale linens, towels, and bedding, to a well-equipped and beautifully remodeled kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and a 'goodie closet' full of beach gear, we feel we’ve created a relaxing and well-appointed place for your island activities, adventures, AND comfort.

We hope you’ll treasure your memories here and consider our place as your little piece of paradise too.

Walking distance to beach, parks, shops, restaurants, and activities. Just a short 5-10 minute drive to several championship golf courses in the area! Watch whales frolicking(in season) from our upper pool.... which is just 20 steps away from our patio sliding door :)

Kihei is just a 15 minute drive to the Maui Ocean Center, 40 minute drive to the west side of the island, (Lahaina, Ka'a'napali, etc), and 1/2 hour from Kahului airport.

Thank you to the owner Merrilyn for our stay in Kihei, the condo was beautiful and fully equipped. With an ocean view and a one minute walk to the beach. Bbq and pool just 30 feet away. My wife was very happy and that's was all I needed. We will definitely come back next time in Maui!!!

I had the pleasure of staying at your lovely and comfortable condo. I loved that it was right across the street from the beach. I love to walk and it is a perfect start to a long a beautiful walk to Wailea and beyond.

Your condo is tastefully decorated and we enjoyed checking out all the interesting artworks.

The pool and BBQ are just right off the lanai, so convenient. So enjoyable. We had all the amenities you could want.

I had such a great time at Five Palms Restaurant and Cafe O Lei, two of my favorites.

Well-equipped but needs a thorough review of cleanliness and condition of supplies

In general we enjoyed out stay. The condo had pretty much everything we needed from great beach towels, some snorkelling equipment, a well-equipped kitchen, etc. However, many of the supplies were low. Had to ask for garbage bags and dish detergent. Not enough laundry soap for more than 2 loads, even though we were asked to keep the towels laundered regularly and launder the sheets at the end of our stay. Tired of asking, so bought my own. Much of the equipment was dirty and in disrepair. The beach chairs are filthy and in poor shape. The only adult sized boogie board was in rough condition. The dishwasher does not work well at all. Had to hand-wash the glasses and mugs because they looked as dirty after a cycle as they did beforehand. There were 3 patio chairs and only 2 had pads. One redeeming feature was that the bed was comfortable. Although we enjoyed our stay, I will not book again unless I'm booking a condo through the co-op.

Owner's Response: Dear Cara: We do apologize for the inconveniences experienced during your stay. Our mgr provides initial items for the first few days; but unless it's a longterm stay,we do not provide constant large refills of soap, toiletries, and the like,such as a hotel would. I'm unaware of the condition of chairs, pads,boogie boards,etc. , and I do appreciate you disclosing the information. I hadn't heard about a problem with the dishwasher before,or after, your stay.But again, my apology;(something may have gone awry such as prior guests handwashing(?) As promised a comfortable refund has been sent to you for your troubles.I was waiting for my year end report to do the condo taxes. With aloha, Mrs Tway-owner

Short but sweet visit to paradise!

Thank you so much Merrilyn for sharing your Maui home with us. The location is perfect! We really enjoy the convenience of the first floor and being adjacent to the upper pool and bbq area is awesome. We love Maui and we love the Hale Kamaole. We spread our visits around the Islands but next time were back in Maui I will look at your properties availability for sure.

Only a 15-20 minute drive to the MAUI Ocean Center.

Championship golf courses within 5-10 minute drive.(Ellair, Wailea Blue, Gold and Emerald courses, and Makena Golf Course a few more minutes south)
