Wildberg is a small village in a rural environment, about 20 km northwest of the city of Neubrandenburg. The Kastorfer See, a swimming and fishing, is located in the immediate vicinity. A bakery is about 2 km away, to the supermarket and a train station is about 10 km. Kastorfer See is managed by a local fishing club where tickets can be purchased. The fishing from a boat is only the club members only. However, there are many land charges.
The city of Neubrandenburg is considered the regional center for the region.
