About Connie and Chris

We are proud to call this cabin ours! We take pride in giving each guest a great stay. Our 3 grown children and their families visit the cabin as often as we do! We raised our family in Northern Virginia but we now call Southern Virginia home. I love to hike, especially Mt LeConte (check our facebook page for pictures of that hike) and run the trails of Gatlinburg along the river.

Connie and Chris purchased this cabin in 2005

Why Connie and Chris chose Sevierville

We absolutely love the Smokey Mountains and have always felt called to come back each time we visited. We decided to have the best of both worlds, having a place we could stay and also provide a warm and inviting cabin for others to feel just as much at home as we do.

What makes this cabin unique

This cabin is made to feel like home in the mountains!

Guestbook comments from the owner

We enjoyed the fall activities closeby, went to the Christmas shop, outlets, and ate awesome food at the Old Mill and The Apple Barn. We even had time for a little hiking outside Gatlinburg. Cabin was decorated beautiful for the fall season, we enjoyed sitting on the rear deck in the cool air and just having some much needed quiet time. Lots of upgrades done at the cabin that are not in the pictures yet! Had a great time.

Amazing time, amazing place

  • 5 of 5

This place was seriously magical. Clean, well located, and close to most attractions. The amazing view and the weather couldn't help more. We had two short snow storms that topped the highlights of our trip, and the outside Jacuzzi? ice on the cake for the cold crisp night of friends talk over wine.

Thanks to the owners for making our traditionally yearly friend's vacation, another success to talk about for years to come.

we recommend it 100%

Great Cabin and location.

We were very pleased with our stay as the cabin was all we expected. I checked with the owners to see if there would be firewood and was told there would be none due to others taking it,We went to Walmart and purchased 4 bundles fir 4.86 EA and it lasted our entire stay.We will be back!

Beautiful cabin, great value

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely place, great views. Decorated for the holidays. My niece and grandson both seven thought the foose ball table was the greatest. Really enjoyed the hot tub. Parking is kind of tight but doable. Owner very responsive. Would rent this cabin again.

Disappointed. No firewood, lukewarm hot tub. Zero privacy. Sour towels.

  • 2 of 5

I first want to start by saying this place might be what some are looking for. I’m sure given the positive reviews, that is the case. However, this was not what we had in mind, and I will share why. For starters the road was HIGHLY busy. So privacy was an absolute no go. The hot tub was easily seen from the road. While we are in the hot tub, it was a warm and toasty 104 right after you first remove the cover and hop in. The temperature quickly reduced to a underwhelming, sad, luke warm 101 after just 30 min each time we used it. So the hot tub experience was a no go as well. Which was sad given the fact we were also unable to have a romantic fire. We thought firewood was provided. The listing did say “IF” it’s there, but seeing as it was the first 2 weeks of the firewood season, and there was no signs of any firewood on the porch at all, we were very disappointed. Do not expect firewood here. I assure you there will be NONE. The pictures are slightly misleading of this home as well. The back deck is much older than pictured. The hot tub in a few pictures is not even the current hot tub. The overall back deck area is a little ran down and ratty. The towels were disgustingly sour. We ended up just rewashing all the gray towels so we wouldnt stink when we got out of the shower. There were a few outlets in the kitchen that wouldn’t hold my charger. The bedroom picture online shows it as a carpeted bedroom...it is not. Which is a no go for someone like me. I’m freezing and can’t get warm and now the bedroom floor is freezing my feet. The carpet in the game room was dirty and stained and smelled like a musty old church. The bathtub in the master was so small so I had to bathe in the other bedroom, but could sleep there because the bed was too small for 2. Make sure you bring your own soap. There was only one tiny thin bar for our several day stay. There were also crumbs on the stove top and dirty spots on the kitchen table when we arrived that makes me question the thouroughness of the house keeping. It was just several things we personally didn’t enjoy or appreciate. Definitely not somewhere cozy or romantic. The house is MUCH older than the pictures lead you to believe. The main issues though were the ones listed in the title of my review. I just wanted to be thorough so that anyone else seeing this might be well informed before booking this cabin. If you’re not looking for romance and just need a place to lay your head, this might be your place.
