About The Owner

This townhouse is owned by two brothers and their wives. We live in Wisconsin and Tennessee but love to vacation in Colorado with family and friends. We have long dreamed to own property in one of the greatest ski locations in the world.

The Owner purchased this townhome in 2009

Why The Owner chose Northwest

We fell in love with Rolling Ridge at first sight. The top quality construction and high grade materials make it a 'five star' accommodation. There is plenty of living space to enjoy the company of family and friends and the bedroom arrangements give much more privacy than other vacation homes. We love trying different ski resorts, and from this townhouse they are all convenient by free bus or car. The views of the mountains and Lake Dillon are relaxing yet you're close to all activities.

What makes this townhome unique

We love the gourmet kitchen and large open family area. The private garage offers easy and secure ski or bike storage as well as parking. Our family members and friends can do anything they want from this townhouse - hop on the bus for skiing, hiking, biking, shopping or stay home and relax with a beautiful view. If that isn't enough we can go to the Silverthorne Activity Center - less than 5 minutes away.

Nice property, Attentive Customer Service

  • 4 of 5

The condo overall was very nice and we received very quick responses from the local property manager, Betty Stielow, when we did have a few issues. The property was in good condition, well appointed, clean, and very convenient for access to Keystone where we skied. There was a ski shop just down the hill that was able to tune our skis overnight which was also very helpful. In spite of being just up the hill from I-70, we couldn't hear any noise inside the condo. It was nice and quiet. The beds were comfortable, furniture was up to date, newer appliances, well-stocked kitchen, washer and dryer downstairs, big master bedroom, etc. The carpet is bit worn in places but I'm sure the owner is well aware and has plans for upgrading at some point.

The only issues we had were that the hot tub was not functional and there were, unfortunately, some mouse droppings in and around the kitchen. But again, Betty, the property manager, responded almost immediately to our texts and stopped by to address the mouse issue along with calling the hot tub maintenance and repair company. When we couldn't get the tub to work properly she stopped by while we were out and left a gift card for the local Silverthorne recreation center (5 minutes away). As a result, we were able to enjoy other amenities such as swimming, hot tub, sauna, steam room and water slide. It was a very nice comp. The Silverthorne recreation center is actually nicer than the one in Breckenridge, where we have gone before while on vacation.

Due to some bountiful Spring snowfall, the skiing was excellent. It was so nice not to have to drive up from south of Denver to get to the slopes.

In short, we would stay at this property again, in part because of the condo itself, but also because of the personal care and prompt attention from Betty.

Very spacious!

  • 5 of 5

Really good place to stay! Lots of space and a fully stocked kitchen. I would recommend looking in the fridge before grocery shopping just to see what other guests leave behind. Private hottub is really great. Dumpster is right across the driveway. Heated garage is oversized for those big skis. For those with altitude sickness like myself, elevation is really low compared to ski resorts and other condos just right up the road. Internet was surprisingly fast. I can probably go on and on. Definite recommendation.

Terrific Labor Day 2015

  • 5 of 5

We had a 5 people stay and had a terrific time. The place is clean, spacious and PERFECTLY located for us to explore Summit County! Very close to Breckenridge, Keystone & Copper Mountain as well as nearby Vail. Excellent location for trout fishing, rafting, dining and shopping (and, we did all of those). Kitchen was very well stocked with nice appliances, and Betty even left us some GREAT cookies upon our arrival. :) Hope to go back again....thanks to Big Show, Robbin & Betty!! Bill & Laura

Good Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

We had a group of 7, our friends and family from TX & MD came out to visit for their first trip to CO and experience west coast skiing. Betty, the Agent was awesome and very helpful before and throughout the stay for any info or questions. The condo had a ton of space, no one was rubbing elbows. It also had one of the most well equipped kitchens I've ever rented, tons of bakeware & appliances. There was no shortage of dining ware or bedding. The hottub was also really nice and spacious.

We managed to ski Keystone, Breck and Vail during our stay. It was a real easy drive to and from the place (not more than 30 mins anywhere). Not far from the gas, groceries and liquor store too!

Thank you for the great stay, Betty & Christensens!
