A short walk from the most beautiful beach in Zihuatanejo, this beautiful condominium is the perfect escape for a week, a month, or an entire vacation. Located in a well-maintained, 25-unit complex just 300 meters from the warm sands of Playa La Ropa, there is nothing nicer in this safe, tranquil neighborhood.
The complex was completed in 2005 and has been meticulously kept ever since. A full-time gardener works the grounds daily and the pool guy cleans the pool every morning. The three buildings surround the pool, which has an adult lap lane, kiddie area, and plenty of space for lounging in the warm sun. Twenty-four hour uniformed security ensures that only residents and guests have access to the pool and the palapa, which is perfect for impromptu gatherings.
The unit itself has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two bunks suitable for children or small adults, and one bathroom - all located on the ground floor. A full kitchen, complete with stove, oven, microwave and full-size refrigerator, adjoins the main living space, which contains built-in couches that can be used for sleeping in a pinch. The outdoor patio has seating for four as well as an electronic grill.
With no skyscraper hotels, nor large scale commercial developments, the area at the south end of Playa La Ropa retains the charm that began attracting visitors to Zihua in the 1960s. A dozen sand-side restaurants along La Ropa’s mile of soft sand offer a tempting variety of delicious food at reasonable prices. Water sports, massages, or relaxing time under an umbrella can also be enjoyed right on the beach.
The actual town of Zihuatanejo is a short 10 minute ride by bus (7.5 pesos/about 50¢) or taxi (40-50 pesos/less than $5). This delightful former fishing village is a wonderful place to shop, with both traditional markets and more modern shops. The “Centro” is also full of outstanding dining options, from food carts on the street to linen tablecloths on the table, covering most types of cuisine and all range of prices.

It feels like a second home to us, we feel safe and we love Playa La Ropa beach. Our condo is only one block from the beach, and it is beautiful, and very comfortable.
It has a heavenly large adult pool, and a shallow kids pool, The condo owners are mostly Canadians and Americans, good people of all ages, that come by themselves, or with their children or grandchildren. We love walking the beach each morning and enjoying our patio throughout the day.
Every Sunday evening the families in town gather to celebrate with music, games like basketball and good food.
