Well-appointed, spacious apartment in fantastic location
Located right in Lionshead Village, this location really can't be beat. My husband and I stayed here for a week after he got surgery at the Steadman Clinic (It's a perfect post-surgery spot, too, because there are no stairs). It's equally well-positioned for skiing, through! The apartment really has everything you need - a lovely balcony with a grill, a cozy fireplace, and a well-equipped kitchen. Susan is an incredibly gracious and responsive host and is quick to address any issue.
Nice clean place to lay your head. Great location in Lionshead. No AC if you need that, although it was quite comfortable while we were there. The owner was very accommodating and a gracious host. Thank you.
Very Pretty and a great view and location
A wonderful condo with a nice deck and pretty view of the mountains. Nice grill. Kitchen had everything you need to make a nice dinner. The pool area with the hot tubs is a nice place to relax.
We spent 6 nights over the 4th of July holiday and it was great. The unit is as advertised, clean, well appointed and big enough to host our extended family. The location is just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the village but close enough to take full advantage of all the amenities.
I would look to book this again in the future.
Also, the owner is great to work with.
Ski weekend in Vail
This condo provided the perfect base to ski Vail over several days. The condo was well furnished, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. The bed was cozy and there was ample room for us to hang out after a long day of skiing. The Intown shuttle is about 50 yards from the condo, so you can explore all of Vail Village & Lionshead without needing a car. The owner was extremely helpful and communicative. The condo might be a tad on the small side if you tried to fit more than 2 adults, but you certainly could use the pull-out sofa for additional guests. There is a full kitchen with lots of dishes/pots/pans/utensils so you can dine in and save a few dollars. The hot tubs looked inviting, but we never made it down stairs to check them out. We look forward to staying here again the next time we are in town. We recommend Terra Bistro, Alpenrose, and Sweet Basil for dinner in Vail Village. There is a storage locker in the garage under the condo (parking is included...which saves about $20+ per day) so we could store our skis/poles. The walk from the condo to the gondola / chairlift in Lionshead is about 5 - 10 minutes (any closer and you would pay 2x - 3x more per night). Highly recommended!
Well-stocked condo in Lionshead
We stayed here for three nights in July. The condo is well-stocked--especially the kitchen, which has everything you need to cook even the most complicated meals. The rest of the condo is comfortable. It seems to have been redone recently, although the building as a whole is starting to show its age.
All in all this is a very nice and reasonably priced place to stay in Vail. However, if you are noise-sensitive, you should know that I-70 is VERY close to the building, which means that the dull roar of highway traffic will be your sonic background the entire time you're in the condo. This may not bother everyone, but if you know that you are sensitive to noise then it is something to consider.
Enjoy the many summer outdoor area activities.
