Susan purchased this condo in 2001
Vail has the best skiing in the US., and the summer hiking, golfing, concerts, arts and activities are great

We spent 6 nights over the 4th of July holiday and it was great. The unit is as advertised, clean, well appointed and big enough to host our extended family. The location is just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the village but close enough to take full advantage of all the amenities.
I would look to book this again in the future.
Also, the owner is great to work with.
This condo provided the perfect base to ski Vail over several days. The condo was well furnished, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. The bed was cozy and there was ample room for us to hang out after a long day of skiing. The Intown shuttle is about 50 yards from the condo, so you can explore all of Vail Village & Lionshead without needing a car. The owner was extremely helpful and communicative. The condo might be a tad on the small side if you tried to fit more than 2 adults, but you certainly could use the pull-out sofa for additional guests. There is a full kitchen with lots of dishes/pots/pans/utensils so you can dine in and save a few dollars. The hot tubs looked inviting, but we never made it down stairs to check them out. We look forward to staying here again the next time we are in town. We recommend Terra Bistro, Alpenrose, and Sweet Basil for dinner in Vail Village. There is a storage locker in the garage under the condo (parking is included...which saves about $20+ per day) so we could store our skis/poles. The walk from the condo to the gondola / chairlift in Lionshead is about 5 - 10 minutes (any closer and you would pay 2x - 3x more per night). Highly recommended!
We stayed here for three nights in July. The condo is well-stocked--especially the kitchen, which has everything you need to cook even the most complicated meals. The rest of the condo is comfortable. It seems to have been redone recently, although the building as a whole is starting to show its age.
All in all this is a very nice and reasonably priced place to stay in Vail. However, if you are noise-sensitive, you should know that I-70 is VERY close to the building, which means that the dull roar of highway traffic will be your sonic background the entire time you're in the condo. This may not bother everyone, but if you know that you are sensitive to noise then it is something to consider.
We had a very nice stay at Vantage Point. The condo is very comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed - I even cooked a mini Thanksgiving dinner.
It is a short walk to Lionshead gondola and everything you need in Lionshead village.
Kids slept on inflatable bed that was comfortable according to them, but there wasn't too much room to put it.
I booked this property at the last moment for a business conference in Lionshead. As opposed to the hotels, many of which were charging unrealistic prices, this unit provided an opportunity for my family accompany me and enjoy the brilliance that is Vail in the summer.
The owner was very responsive to my inquires and made the booking process seamless. I used Paypal.
I received clear instructions as how to find and access the unit.
The unit is located in the heart of Lionshead, within a short walk to all the attractions. The in-town bus, which allows for quick travel to Vail Village, was conveniently located within 100 yards of the property.
The unit has a balcony with mountain views. There's a more than adequate kitchen, fully equipped for stay-at-home cooking, if that's your thing on vacation. The dining room and living room were clean and furnished. The stone counters are very nice and updated. The is becoming somewhat dates, but it did not interfere with our stay. In fact, when I travel with my young kids, I have better piece of mind if the furniture isn't too expensive, as I fear they might do something naughty.
The bedroom has a queen size bed. It was stocked with fresh sheets and blankets on our arrival. There's a flat-screen TV in the bedroom, which is great for those who fall asleep with the TV.
The bathroom was nice -- updated counters and bath/shower. My impression is that the bathroom had been updated recently. One minor complaint -- I could not find electrical access in the bathroom. I looked and looked, but could not find the sockets, but I didn't want to impose on the owners. Maybe a note for future renters would easily solve the problem.
Overall, this location has excellent price point and location. It was well-stocked and clean. We were very happy with this property. Our main criticism is the electric socket access in the bathroom, which is easily correctable.
The unit was clean and properly advertsided
This condo felt like a home instead of a rental full of cast off furniture and dollar store plates with cheap pots and pans like others we have stayed in. I loved the location. Everything was an easy walk or a short bus ride into the village. The bus stop was just across the way. The gondolas where just a short walk down to the mountain. It would be really convenient for skiing. Be sure to grab a daily paper to find out what is happening that day around town.
We really didn't have any problem with road noise. We could only hear it when we had the windows open.
The owners were great to work with. When a family emergency required us to alter our dates, she tried very hard to make it work.
Enjoy the many summer outdoor area activities.
