About Nadia Brydon

I've lived in Fulham for over 30 years and love it here. I have worked part time for the last 10 years for a charity supporting women with breast cancer and been involved in complementary medicine and nutrition for at least 25 years. I have just finished doing a Masters in International Public Health Nutrition (phew!). However, I have done B&B on and off for over 20 years and love meeting and welcoming all the wonderful people who visit from all over the world and come and stay at my very British B&B.

Nadia Brydon purchased this apartment in 2007

Why Nadia Brydon chose London

I chose to buy in Fulham because it is in Central London and yet in a lovely green and leafy safe residential area just a short ride on public transport directly into the city centre. Walking is only minutes to a wide range of restaurants, shops, English pubs, parks, shopping centres, the Thames and lovely antique shops. It's so quiet and yet so central.

What makes this apartment unique

I bought my house and completely gutted it from top to bottom which was great fun to do. The house is decorated in natural materials using natural fabrics, stone, wood and marble. It's very bright and light and airy. Lots of attention to detail and the house is kept immaculately clean and tidy by my lovely cleaning lady. It is requested shoes are removed at the front door which helps keep the house so clean. You will be nurtured and well looked after here. It really is a cozy haven in the centre of London with a lovely garden to rest in at the end of the day or have your breakfast on the patio on warm sunny days before the start of your sight seeing. Because it is quite small it has a lovely cottagy feeling about it. I hope you love it like I do!

Guestbook comments from the owner

Our stay at Nadia's Fulham B&B was fabulous. Nadia has created a peaceful oasis. The location is easy to get to from all the sights that London has to offer and it was always a pleasure to get back at the end of a full day. Nadia's home is a safe haven for the chemically sensitive.

Fabulous stay at Cozy Cottage

  • 5 of 5

We booked on the basis of the outstanding reviews, and Nadia's Cozy Cottage exceeded our expectations. The compact guest suite is well appointed and spotlessly clean, and the bed is super-comfy. Nadia's welcome package is full of great information and tips to help make your stay even more enjoyable. We especially loved the amazing array of breakfast choices that Nadia offered us and the fact that she was happy to keep the fridge stocked for us during our stay. As previous reviewers have stated, the Cozy Cottage is very conveniently located for taking both the bus and tube, and is just a short walk to the scenic Thames Walk. Nadia is a very warm and welcoming host, and we were delighted to be able to meet her and stay in her lovely home. We would highly recommend this property!

Great Stay at Cozy Cottage

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay at Nadia's cozy cottage. It is exactly as the pictures show, cozy comfortable and homey with a lovely little back yard. It has its own entrance door which makes it very private. It is very clean and in a wonderful location with bus connections to seemingly anywhere in London. WE also liked the fact that it is so close to the River Thames. We took some wonderful walks and also had great meals along the River.

Nadia gladly shares her vast knowledge about London and bus routes, etc. The breakfast provided was very good, especially the Rye Sourdough bread, thank you Nadia. Anytime you ran out of food you could just leave a note for Nadia and pretty much immediately she brought milk or fruit or whatever.

Hammersmith is a very safe area with lots of pubs and restaurants and lots of young people. We liked it there. Should we come back to London, we'd certainly stay at Nadia's Cozy Cottage again

Cheers, Bridget and Gary

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your lovely review. The details you explain I am sure will help future guests in deciding if Cozy Cottage is for them. I have been providing this very private Cozy Cottage accommodation to guests for 10 years now and still absolutely love sharing this lovely spot with so many wonderful guests from around the world. A home from home which I try keep in tip top condition at all times and providing the 'best of British' and little touches so guests feel special and cared for. So glad you liked the Rye Sourdough bread and will make sure it is available again to you for your next visit. Until then, all the best.

Home away...

  • 5 of 5

Nadia was an excellent host, our room was very comfortable, clean, and her home well located.

I traveled with my 17 yr old Daughter to explore London and shop. We stayed in her smaller upstair room with a shared bath. Every detail was well though out by our host. The location was easy to get around by public transport, a small store (Co-Op), is only 100 feet from her doorstep. Bright, sunny and lovely can describe both Nadia and her home. We look forward to returning!

Homely oasis in the middle of London

  • 5 of 5

This was the second time we have stayed at Nadia's for an extended period of time. we really appreciated all the work Nadia has done since our last visit. The bed is as fabulous as ever, and the comply couch was a welcome improvement as was the kitchen/cooking facilities. Though we didn't get to see Nadia as much this time, the private entry through the garden was great as we could come and go as we liked without disturbing Nadia. Apart from it's ideal location, close to buses, trains, loads of shops and supermarkets, the 'Cosy cottage' was alway clean, the shower is fabulous and the bedding of high quality. It is small but for one or two people it is perfect and offers exceptional value in London and Nadia is an attentive host regularly check that we were ok. Thanks Nadia❤️

We stayed at Cozy Cottage for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. It's just like the pictures show. Very comfortable room/bed. Nadia was wonderful and very helpful with information on how to get around by bus and tube. Cozy cottage is just a few short steps to all buses. Lots of stores, parks, pubs and restaurants within a short walk.

Great value for the dollar. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Nadia!
