Experience spectacular views with romantic sunsets in this recently renovated, one bedroom, two-story luxury condominium. Located in one of the most exclusive gated communities in Manzanillo, on the Santiago Peninsula, it has a calm, serene atmosphere that is just perfect for that relaxing holiday in the sun! You will have incredible views of the Pacific Ocean from the two ocean-side decks, while a view of the Sierra Madre Mountains is experienced from the back deck. In this end unit condo you experience 180-degree views of the ocean, the Bay of Santiago, village of Santiago and the mountains. The condo complex known as ‘El Faro’ is extremely safe and meticulously managed. Two on-site pools (one heated) provide a great opportunity for lounging in or near the water, if you aren’t up for going to the beach. Beaches are a ten-minute walk away. Restaurants, grocery stores and shopping centers are also within walking distance.

This spacious, newly renovated condo has an upper level with a large master bedroom with a king-size bed and a bathroom. A sitting room/den next to the master has a 42 inch LCD big screen TV, VCR,DVD player, and a number of videos, DVDS and books for your enjoyment.

On the main floor, there is a kitchen, living room and second bathroom. This area also has a cabinet unit with a built-in double Murphy bed. The living area has a sound system with a number of CDs for your listening pleasure. The inside living areas are tastefully decorated with Mexican art and decorative items.

The condo is cooled by ocean and mountain cross breezes and has two ceiling fans. Ideal for a quiet, romantic get away. Condo regulations suggest a minimum stay for renters.

Rules concerning disturbances and consideration for others are strictly enforced. Manzanillo has not been developed as a tourist destination, so it retains much of its ‘small town’ charm, as well as the ability to enjoy many of the benefits of a first class tourist destination.

Colima, the capital city of the state of Colima, is approximately one-hour drive away. It has an historic main square, pre-Colombian ruins and is near two volcanoes, one of which is still active. There are also charming pueblos nearby such as historic and charming Comala. Famed black sand beaches, south of Manzanillo, are approximately 45 minutes drive. Area: Located on the Mexican Riviera, Manzanillo is south of Puerto Vallarta and north of Acapulco on the Pacific coast. Direct flights are available from most major cities in Canada and the U.S. The condo is located 30 minutes south of the Manzanillo Airport and is centrally located on the Santiago Peninsula. The Peninsula has a guard station through which everyone must pass to get onto the Peninsula. Smoking is not permitted inside the condo and no pets are allowed.

A wonderful winter getaway!

We had a great month at El Faro. The condo was very well equipped, and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable, from margaritas in the blender to burgers on the barbecue!

The views from both sides of this corner unit were breathtaking- glorious sunrises on one side and amazing sunsets and ocean views on the other side.

The people at El Faro were very friendly - the staff, the residents, and the visitors like us. Beatriz, the manager, was a gem. She answered all our questions, called taxis for us, booked a couple of tours for us, and went out of her way to help us enjoy our stay.

The grounds at El Faro were very well cared for and the pools were a great place to spend some time in the sun and visit with the others.

El Faro is situated very high up, so it is quite a walk to get to shopping, restaurants, etc. We made the trip down with no problems, but found we had to rely on taxis to return home with our groceries. Taxis are cheap, so it was worth it, if only for the view we enjoyed every day.

The condo owners were very helpful and great to deal with. They provided us with some very valuable information about the area, which helped us in choosing things we wanted to see and do.

I have been spending March at El Faro Condominio for the last 10 years, the past three in this two level unit. i have reserved March for years to come in this same unit as it is an ideal top floor unit situated at top-most part of the hill. From its three balconies, you get a 360 view, ocean, mountains, surrounding pueblos below. You can follow, or avoid, the sun all day long by chosing your outside nook. From the condo, there are several walking beaches in both directions ( 5 minutes down the hill) , many unique coffee houses, easy walk to many restauraunts, villages, markets, supermarkets. Going further out, the buses are within minutes, to all destinations, 70 pesos (50 cents).

You would be hardpressed to find a place where you would feel safer. The staff, cleaners, groundkeepers are friendly and always helpful. Both the condo and Manzanillo area as a whole are a feel-safe place for a 70ish woman, alone.

I have cooked many a wonderful meal in their well-equipped kitchen, gotten caught up in Netflix programs in their entertainment corner, and love waking up to a cool breeze travelling across the room and the sound of ocean waves below. With luck, I hope to have another 20ish March years there, that tells it all!

We have visited Manzanillo every winter for the past several years. The condo is an end unit, light and bright, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Evening breezes always allow for pleasant evenings.

The views and weather are always terrific, the balconies are great for watching the sunrise in the morning and sunsets in the evenings. El Faro is a secure, friendly and well maintained complex in a great location.
