Flooded with light, this cosy 2 Bdr apt is perfectly adapted to a family or a couple for medium length stay. It sleeps a maximum of 6 guests. It is in a nice stone and brick building with elevator.
Located a nice shopping area, where a fresh food market is located, it is in a quiet area, just away from the lively but tiring traffic. It is a 2 to 3 mn away from subways Abbesses and Blanche and a short walk away from two bus lines .
The living room itself has 4 large windows. Light comes from 3 different directions. One of the windows offers the view on wonderful sunsets. The living room is divided in 2 areas, a lounge with a nice art deco type sofa and a dining area with a round wooden table that seats 6. Decoration is warm and has a personal touch. The owner has framed herself most of the painting or photograph hanged on the walls. An ancient golden frame mirror brings a touch of glamour.
The master bedroom is decorated with taste. The double bed is queensize. A large wardrobe is there to store clothes. The 2nd bedroom sleeps 2 in single beds and 2 in convertible sofa beds. It is particularly well adapted to children.
The kitchen is fully equipped (dish washer, microwave…) and has a large window. Bathroom is large. It offers a bath with shower.
As a bonus, phone calls to land lines in France, and to US, Canada and Australia are generally free. It is also true for more than 50 countries. Moreover, calls to cell phones to specific countries (often US & Canada) may also be free. Ask us for details as it may vary with time and policies of operators.
This location is a perfect base to visit Paris. It stays 15 minute by subway to most interesting Paris locations AND is a very charming and restful area to be appreciated after a whole day shopping and walking through museums.

We take care of the advertising of apartments, the reservation process from payments to security deposit refund; and even the cleaning and the maintenance of the apartment. We selected this property because of its great location close to Sacré Coeur and its cosiness and natural light. It is the main residence of the owner. He rents when going to his secondary residence. For a guest, renting a main residence is a warranty of high quality : it is always maintained at top level. Obvioulsy, the owner puts away personal belonging. There is more than enough space available for guests. WE DO CARE ABOUT PROPERTIES WE MANAGE.

Best apartment and location!
We have been visiting Paris and renting an apartment at Montmartre each time.
The apartment Damremont in Montmartre has been the best apartment so far. We loved the location of the building in a great neighborhood.
The instructions on obtaining and accessing the keys to the flat were clear and easy to follow. The apartment was very clean and spotless and all amenities that we needed were there, for example, the coffee maker, essential in starting our mornings after a brief stroll to the boulangerie nearby for the freshly baked warm baguettes. There is a mini grocery store at the next building and also across the street, there are also other bigger supermarkets at the next street on Coulaincourt. There are many Cafes, patisseries and restaurants nearby. The bus stops are also just outside the apartment building within a minute walk. We were a group of six adults and were grateful to find that there is a washing machine in the apartment, having a full size stove and oven with a good sized refrigerator was also greatly appreciated since we gathered most evenings for dinner. We appreciated all the books about Paris which provided us with history and details of the sites that we wanted to visit. The apartment is on the second floor and the building has a lift, most times we easily walk up the circular stairs to the second floor with no problem.
We also appreciated having our refund for the deposit being sent within two days of our return.
We would definitely recommend the apartment.
I gave the apartment only three stars because I would not rent it again. Everything was clean, but the owner could do much better. The tiny elevator only worked from the first floor. We never used it.
There was not a single information about the neighborhood, grocery store, restaurants or public transportation. Not a single hint or recommendation.
The sofa bed was not very comfortable. The bathroom had a funny smell that we tried to get rid of with no luck.
I really think that there are better options in Paris.
We are very sorry the apt was not at your taste. We take reviews seriously and always try to act on them when possible.
The elevator is in process of maintenance. This may happen in any building. We called the building manager who said the maintenance should only last for 1 more week.
As far as the sofa bed , it is the first time a guest expresses disappointment. Sofa beds are obviously rarely as comfortable as real beds. This sofa bed is in good state. It may also be a question of taste. One should note that there are 4 others sleeping places available that are in real beds. We take your opinion seriously, if we get remarks about the sofa bed again from our next guests, we will have arguments to propose the owner to buy a new sofa bed.
We have made sure our maintenance team checks the bathroom smell and possible reasons why it happened.
Guests generaly call us to get information about the district. This is a good suggestion, we will add information about location in a leaflet.
First one would be : go to the “café qui parle” restaurant for lunch ( delicious and cheap) or for the famous Sunday morning brunch. It is 100m from the apt.

Great little apartment in Montmartre - everything we needed for a perfect five days in Paris!
Cozy and charming!
e had a very enjoyable stay at the Damremont apartment. The apartment is spacious and yet cozy and charming. It worked very well for our family of 6. There is a grocery nearby, and a good bakery one block away. The Metro is about 10 minutes walk, but quite convenient. It was a perfect choice for our holiday vacation!
Comfortable flat in a great location
This apartment has many things to recommend it. It is in a great location in Montmartre, just steps away from a street loaded with shops and restaurants. Sacre Coeur is a 15 minute walk. It was also less than a 10 minute walk from two Metro stations (perhaps faster if you are not walking with a 7 year old!), giving easy access to all the tourist sites.
The place was comfortable for our family of four. It is reasonably sized (by Paris standards) with two real bedrooms. The kitchen is small, but is fine for making breakfasts. It is well-appointed with appliances and utensils, so a more adventurous chef could probably do more. It's in an old building, so it's a bit quirky, but that becomes part of the charm. I'm not sure if this flat is managed on behalf of an owner that lives there part-time, but the way it is decorated (even with stacks of CDs and DVDs, books, and other personal touches) it really does feel like you are house-sitting for someone who is out-of-town for the weekend. It's on the third floor (U.S. numbering); there is a small elevator, but we never bothered with it.
Jean-Noël, the manager, is professional and efficient, making everything quite easy for us. We were very satisfied with this rental.
I found the apartment in good condition, clean and very well equipped. The description of the site corresponded to what we found. The location is convenient to visit Paris with the Metro in 5 minutes and the area has all the facilities that can be used. The agency has responded to our requests with friendliness. I can definitely recommend this apartment for visiting Paris, especially for a family.
