Our object is close to the Wreecher Bodden midst of the biosphere reserve Southeast Rügen, in a small fishing village with its typical thatched houses which were built around 1814 and located on the waterfront. The unique one-line village is not only an attraction for many tourists, it is also one of the main film locations of the television series Robbi. New Reddevitz is quiet and secluded from the bustle of mass tourism, yet the famous seaside resorts (Sellin, Göhren, Binz) are only a short drive away. Among the most famous sights are the nearby hunting lodge Granitz, the impressive megalithic tombs and the nostalgic steam railway Rasender Roland. Very nice also the old chestnut avenue. The place Lancken-Granitz, to the Neu Reddevitz belongs, is centrally located in close proximity to the major seaside resorts of Rügen. Until Binz there are about 8.5 km, Sellin about 6.7 km, the Baltic Sea, Baabe approximately 8.3 km Göhren 12 km. The nearby surroundings you will find sandy beaches, riding stables, boat rentals, a surf spot for beginners (Stresower Bay), various smoked fish (Seedorf, about 5 km). Until the newly built island-cycle paths, through which all seaside resorts are also to reach, it is not far. Restaurants and pubs are located in Lancken-Granitz. Various shops, cafes and more restaurants are plentiful in the surrounding seaside resorts.
