Your hosts are a family of four and two pups. We moved 'back east' from a tiny ski village in the Sierra Nevada mountains. After living at 7,100 feet for three years, we thought we'd enjoy being at sea level in a seaside town. What a good decision! We live in the most amazing 'castle,' that was built around 1900 as a carriage house serving the nearby Clifton Train Depot. Although the horses, carriages, and train are long gone, you will be charmed by the beauty and adventure of this old turreted building. Just as we do. We are delighted to welcome people to Marblehead and enjoy our beautiful gardens, yard and seaside community.

Situated less than ½ mile from Preston Beach, 1 ½ miles from Devereux Beach, 2 miles from historic old town Marblehead, and 15 miles from Logan Airport and Boston—convenient for both vacation and business travelers. Marblehead has historic homes, art galleries, old winding roads, a lighthouse and so much more. Nearby Salem is ripe with witches, pirates, House of the Seven Gables, and the incredible Peabody Essex Museum.
Enjoyed a great week in Marblehead with our family at Coachman quarters. Great location in a beautiful little village close enough to Boston for easy trips into the city. Came for Halloween in Salem, which was ok -- fun to see for a day and a half or so, but be ready for big crowds. Our family enjoys history and there is plenty to see/do within a day from Boston Freedom Trail to Minutemen natl park, to Maritime museums. Hammond castle in Gloucester was worth a short drive.
Accommodations were good with plenty of room for the 5 of us. Nice to have laundry on site.
We travel to the North Shore every year from South Carolina to visit our children and grandchildren. We stayed a month and couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. The house was very well stocked and if it wasn't there you probably didn't really need it. We loved the location and Marblehead is a great place to spend a summer month. We had the pleasure of spending a few months at this lovely home while working on a film in the Boston area. I am hesitant to call it an apartment because it felt so comfortable and roomy. My husband would joke about how long it took to walk to the bathroom down the hall at night because of how spacious the accommodations were. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. The house was clean and every necessity was provided to us. The location was lovely, just a 2 min walk to the beach with beautiful views of the ocean. The history just in Marblehead was amazing in itself. Brett's hospitality over -exceeded our expectations during our stay. Highly recommend Coachman's Quarters and did encourage our local locations manager to look into using this apartment for future traveling film industry workers. THANKS again Brett! P.S. say hi to Nash for us!!!! FYI: just a heads up that the commute to get to downtown Boston did take at least 35-40 min with very little traffic (over an hour during peak traffic times).
Our stay over the holiday season was perfect. Brett was very welcoming and accommodating to our families needs. The apartment was clean and very well stocked with all the amenities you would need when traveling. We look forward to visiting the property again in the near future. I would highly recommend this rental property.
We stayed in the Coachman's Quarters for more then two weeks with two babies and we found the accommodations to be outstanding. We arrived with a fruit bowl and sparkling water waiting for us. We received an American gift for babies too. Thank you Brett.
Coachman apartment is beautiful, spacious and cozy at the same time. The apartment was very clean and perfect for our 2 babies. The kitchen was well-stocked, with WiFi available, as well as a printer. We felt at home right away
The apartment is ideally situated for beach days, access to the walking trails of Marblehead. The property is located about 10 minutes outside of Salem, and provides easy of access to all of the Marblehead and Salem attractions.
Brett, the owner, was incredibly sweet and helpful throughout our stay and later, when we returned in France. Brett speaks very well french. It was very pleasant.
Our deposit was very promptly returned.

Sent a month here and found the accommodations flawless. Brett, the owner, was most helpful. Enjoyed the walks on the nearby beach and the walking trail at our doorstep. Plenty of room for the two of us and two guests. Found a great spot for overstuffed lobster rolls and enjoyed them at the lighthouse park 15 minutes away. Our deposit was very promptly returned.
