This beautiful, fully air conditioned, 1620 sq' Poipu Kai Regency condo is very spacious with two stories and an open loft that serves as a fourth bedroom. On the main floor is the master bedroom with a KING size bed, a large master bathroom, walk in shower, tub, closet, two sink vanity, TV and even a private lanai. There is a second bedroom with two twin beds (which can be made into a king size bed if desired) and a full bathroom. We have provided a stacked washer/dryer on this floor as well.

The kitchen, with granite counter tops, is very modern and is loaded with the newest appliances for your convenience. The living room has a large TV with cable, a DVD player and a surround sound stereo system for your enjoyment. The upstairs boasts the spacious loft area with a closet and two twin beds (can be made into a King sized bed) and a view of the downstairs living area. There is also a third private bedroom with a queen bed and TV as well as another full bathroom..

This condo is an upper unit so there is no noise to contend with. It is located in the Regency group of condos which have access to the private 3 pools, spas and BBQ areas (available only to Regency guests) should you desire to BBQ and lounge about. There is a beautiful walking path, with immaculately manicured trees, shrubs, and lawns that leads to the beach from the condo. This is a very pleasant 5 minute stroll. The beaches are very user friendly should you desire to snorkel, swim, or just lie out and catch up on your tan.

We own, rent and manage this condo ourselves as well as # 857718 ( the 2 units could be combined for larger groups)... and take great pride in offering you the best value in housing in the Poipu area for your dream vacation.

We are Mike and Carol Ann. We have been married since 1970 and have thoroughly enjoyed our travel through out the world. There is no other place quite like Kauai. There is so much abundant beauty here, the temperature is perfect and the sights and sounds of the ocean cannot be matched anywhere. We want to provide the very best value for the dollar and have elected to manage this ourselves and pass along savings to you. We hope you enjoy our place as much as you enjoy your vacation. Why The Owner chose South Shore

We had visited the different Hawaiian Islands over the past 15 or so years, and once we visited Kauai, there was no comparison as far as quietness, friendliness, and overall beauty of the beaches.

Everything about our vacation was perfect. We arrived rather late and when we arrived, Mike and Sheila, his housekeeper had the condo in perfect condition. It was cool as they had turned on the A/C, directions were spot on and when we woke in the AM, we were very surprised at how well stocked and clean it was.

We mingled with several other vacationers and all had problems with their lodging.

We were so grateful for our place.

Mike asked us to write about our experience; it just put the icing on the cake for our 40th anniversary, thank you again. We are planning on returning 2017 with our children.

I recommend watching the sun set each evening if possible...best to watch on the beach just down the walking path from the condo.

Comfortable!

Our family of 8 thoroughly enjoyed their stay. We had plenty of space to come together as a group (living room, dining room and balcony) or retire to our private space (bedrooms). The complex was well kept, nice pools to lounge around and/or BBQ, and a very pleasant walk to the beach where we saw green turtles and monk seals every morning. The location was good with easy access to many fun activities: zip-lining, tubing, beaches, restaurants. Very much appreciated the beach gear we had access to: boogie board, chair, umbrella, cooler, towels. Hope to visit again as the island has so much to see!

Glad we stayed here!

4 adults, 2 children. Stay 14 days, May/June 2017. Very good location - quiet - away from the road, very close to 2 of the pools and grills. Easy walk to the beaches. Well stocked kitchen. Well stocked beach gear: beach towels, chairs, coolers, floaties, toys, etc. Great having 2 lanais - one off the master bedroom and one off the living. Had coffee every morning on the lanai. Perhaps the biggest plus was the air conditioning. This made a very big difference for sleeping and returning from a day at the beach. Mike, the owner, was very easy to deal with. All said, great unit and very, very glad we stayed here!

This is a lovely unit which will accommodate up to 8 people very comfortably.

My wife and I along with our son, daughter, daughter-in-law, and 18-year old grandson just spent a very enjoyable three sunny weeks in #820 at the Regency Poi'pu Kai. The unit has everything one needs for an easy stay. Although it does not have a view of the ocean, a very nice beach is an easy 5-10 minute walk away. The location is very attractively landscaped and the pools and spas on site are very nice and are equipped with gas BBQs. One pool includes a covered area adjacent to the BBQs if weather is threatening. The unit is very nicely located in relation to restaurants and other services in the Poi'pu area. Grocery shopping (along with other shops, restaurants, and galleries) is also available in the lovely little community of Keloa Town, a 10-minute drive away. This unit is a very good choice for a larger family or several couples looking for a nice accommodation in the Poi'pu area.

You've Ruined our Future Family Vacation Plans

Every 3 years, our family of 7 (father, mother, son, daughter, daughter-in-law, granddaughter #1, granddaughter #2) takes a family vacation together to a different location. This is our third trip together, and after this one, we probably can't go anywhere else! Son and daughter-in-law are already planning a return trip next year sans father, mother, and kids.

Mike is a pleasure to work with - he was very accommodating as we lengthened our stay due to opportunities to travel earlier and stay later. The condo is in an EXCELLENT location, with 5 minute walks to two different beaches. Poipu Beach was a great place for our toddlers. We also loved wandering over to the Hyatt on our walks - daughter-in-law is already lobbying daughter to hold a destination wedding at the Hyatt in her future (even though she's not close to getting married?).

We also loved being close to many different eating places as well as Koloa. We ventured out for day trips to Waimea Canyon and to the North Shore for a fantastic hike where you could see the Na Pali Coast. Along the way we discovered some unique experiences; most notably, a beach further west of Waimea and the fantastic sights of the North Shore.

The amenities of the condo were perfect which included 3 bedrooms, a loft, great kitchen, and overall living space. We loved the pack 'n play, high chair, and beach toys for the granddaughters. We were able to cook some meals and keep snacks fully stocked after visiting Costco and the Big Save Market in Koloa. We also made good use of the washer and dryer over our 11 day trip.

All in all, Kauai is magnificent and this condo provided the perfect base. I thought the rate we paid was very reasonable. I would stay here again for sure.

Perfect for a large family holiday

We were 4 couples and small children, all one family.

Perfect accomadation, 5 min walk to beach most mornings to see turtles, watch sun come up and often have an unexpected dip!

With a 6 month old it would have been nice to know Michael that you had so much baby equipment such as bum bowl, stroller etc as it would have saved the extra suitcase of baby stuff!

Well equiped kitchen which made it so easy to have big family meals each night.
