Entire length of back of house has a 10-foot shade overhang. Front yard has lovely Arizona cactus theme. Golf, Casinos, shopping, flea markets, fishing on the Colorado River are all some nearby activities.
The property is just off of Foothills Boulevard and has an amazing view of the Gila mountains, just east of downtown Yuma. Here you will find easy access to Interstate 8 (2 mi.) and just 14 miles from the Arizona-California border. Make a quick trip to Algadones for shopping, Dental, Medical & Pharmaceutical needs. Looking for an extra excursion while you are in town? Try a beautiful ride to San Diego, Sedona, Tucson, Tombstone or Bisbee
I bought the home for my Ex. Wife who has recently passed away. The property is now mine.
Location, Location, Location!
The ease of dealing with this owner made our renting experience quite enjoyable. Very casual and relaxed but if we needed anything attended to the owner made it happen. Home was lovely and for the most part well maintained. Had no issue concerning the refund of the deposit. Neighborhood was quiet and relaxed. I would recommend this rental to anyone.
This was a very pleasant smaller two bedroom, two bath home with 11/2 car garage in the Fortuna Foothills just east of Yuma. It was an ideal location because there was easy access to I-8 and it was on the periphery of development so you could readily get off into the desert for walks. The master bedroom king mattress was very comfortable There was a double vanity: one for the guy in-bathroom; one for the gal adjacent to the bathroom. Cable TV had ample choice of channels once you figured out the system. The kitchen was galley-like and perhaps a bit awkwardly designed but it was reasonably stocked with kitchen necessities. Appliances worked well. The main complaint was an overactive house fan/air circulation system. The Barbeque grill worked very well after a little grate-cleaning. And, the patio was wonderful considering the warm January we had.
BBQ Grille had not been cleaned, and tub needed resealed and mold removed. Only one light of sevral around front wall was operational, but otherwise very nice place. Very enjoyable and location worked well for us.
Just a couple quirks during my visit, otherwise I'd grade this property as Excellent. It lived up the images and descriptions online and the owner was great to deal with. There's a couple of maintenance issues which are being address by the local property manager, Paula, and she was also nice to deal with.
