Comfortably furnished, two bedroom townhouse (2 story) is appropriate for short term corporate or recreational rentals for Huntsville and the surrounding areas. The unit is conveniently located in south Huntsville, with easy access to Redstone Arsenal, NASA, Cummings Research Park. Near Main Arsenal gate, and close to Gates 2,3,8 & 10. The Townhouse is not appropriate for children under 8.

ALL utilities, washer and dryer, unlimited Broadband Internet, fully equipped kitchen, bath & bed linens, cleaning supplies, paper products are included.

If you are relocating to the Tennessee Valley area, or working here on temporary assignment and need short-term accommodations, this townhouse is ideal. The space is equally appropriate for out of town family and/or those vacationing in the Tennessee Valley. Parents of campers attending Space Camp and/or Aviation Challenge will find this the perfect place to stay while your child is at camp-close but far enough away!

Fully equipped kitchen has full-size refrigerator, microwave, trash compactor, and small appliances surrounded by ample cabinet space. Walk out to the private fenced patio and this condominium becomes a comfortable 'home away from home'. The master bedroom has large walk in closet, queen bed, TV, desk area for laptop and a sink and vanity. The second bedroom has a double bed and ample closet. Full bathroom upstairs, and half bath down.

Community cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, aluminum foil, etc. are for guest use. We ask that you replace what you use.

Long term lease available also. Whitesburg Elementary and Grissom High School district.

Tranquility was Peaceful

I'm so thankful to find this condo. I stayed here five weeks during a life transition period. The condo is fully furnished and very cozy. The path leading to the front door is even tranquil. The neighbors are quiet and friendly. I truly enjoyed everything about my stay in Tranquility.

A great place for the money.

We enjoyed our stay. Directions to apartment were a little sketchy, something about a car wash which was no where in site! Directions to the back parking lot would be better and apartment access is easier from there. We asked for key to pool and we got it. The pool itself is nice and we enjoyed using it as we had exclusive use of it, but the pool rest rooms haven't been used/cleaned in years (it seemed like no one used the pool so maybe cleaning and upkeep to the restrooms was deemed not important, however the pool was clean). The apartment itself is nice and cozy, mostly clean but not immaculate, a few bugs downstairs that probably come in from the slightly overgrown landscape outside. It was very nice having a kitchen so we didn't have to eat out every day. We enjoyed the patio and grill. Beds were comfortable. Bath was adequate and linens were nice. If you're looking for that homey feeling, this is the place.

Overall, this was a good stay. The townhome is close to the places we needed to be and convenient to the highway. We almost exclusively stay at VRBO's for the extra space and the kitchen. This rental did not disappoint in those two areas.

Quiet. We could occasionally hear neighbors, but never at inconvenient times.


Not quite up to par on cleanliness, the carpets could use a good cleaning. The house had a musty smell. There were spider webs in the full bedroom window.

The townhome complex is a bit run down.

The Queen Bed mattress was really hard, but that is also a matter of preference. If you like a more firm mattress, you might love it. I found sleeping on the couch to be more comfortable.

I realize that Alabama is buggy, but there were some mosquitos inside. They may have flown in when we were bringing in bags, but they were hungry and I'm a bit itchy.

The directions given to find the home at check-in were confusing to us. Maybe adding photos of what to look for would help. It took us a couple of circles before we figured out where our building was.

I think this would be a five star rental if the carpets were cleaned and the whole home got a deep cleaning.

I apologize you got on the tail end of old carpet. In regards to directions, I emailed very specific directions when I sent the key code. I am confused a bit by what VRBO is sending you at "welcome." Owner's Response: Gosh, I think this is the first negative review we have gotten since we have been renting (2007). I apologize if The Whisenants felt the "overall cleanliness and comfort was not too great." If you would have notified me, I would have sent the housekeeper over to address any concerns you have. Additionally, I'm not sure what you mean by "comfort." Beds too firm? pillows flat? I would very much appreciate it if you could elaborate on the details of "comfort." The furnishings are well appointed. If there was anything they needed, they should have let me know. In regards to the area, we have the same visitors return year after year. And many of these folks are "snow birds, " and sometimes a little older. They seem to be very comfortable with the area. We have Space Camp families come from all over the world and I have always received great feedback. It is a diverse neighborhood, and possibly that is not something these guests are comfortable with. I would encourage them to voice their concerns the moment they enter any rental, otherwise, as owners, we cannot correct it during their stay. Myself, the handyperson and the housekeeper strive to make the guests stay as nice as possible. I regret the Whisenants were unhappy with their choice. Warmly, Kathryn Reinhart

Very clean and had all the amenities. Owner's description of the property is very accurate. This was a work trip, so the location was perfect. Very comfortably and cozy ambiance. Quiet neighbors. Shopping, movies, and restaurants all very close. I will definitely stay again on the next trip to Huntsville.

Unit was spacious and well equipped.enjoyed local attractions in Huntsville.condo was close to shops

Disappointed golf course closed. Did use cross country track around edge of course for lot of walking. Nearby movie theater was convenient.great to have WiFi and flat screen tv and washer dryer. Parking was convenient. Condo was a bit overpriced compared to rent in Huntsville and selling price if unit. Owner was very helpful.

The VRBO map is incorrect. It shows the unit is located in downtown Huntsville. It is located in southeast Huntsville, near the corner of Airport Road (not near the airport), and Memorial Pky (Hwy 231). Or google 2225 Golf Road, Huntsville.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
