Spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean from the living room of this secure gated condominium. Located in Playa Samara. Enjoy the lush tropical landscape, and the abundant wildlife as you walk just a few minutes to the beach. Once at the beach you may enjoy the many activities Samara has to offer such as kayaking out to an island off the coast where you can snorkel, swim, or just relax.
Go horseback riding on the beach, or take a longer trek up the mountain. Take a surf lesson, charter a boat for fishing or sightseeing, rent a bike for a ride along the beach.
Condo Veneto is in walking distance to the town center where you will find restaurants, bars grocery stores, bakery, pharmacy, bank, doctor, internet, massage, yoga and several clothing/souvenir stores. If you are interested in a quaint, friendly, not over developed-crowded beach town, look no further. Ask about our language school student discount.
Hello Joe & Mark
You have a beautiful place in paradise! Samara & Carrillo beaches are spectacular. Having beach chairs to take down was very nice. The pool here is the nicest we've seen in Samara although the shade is minimal. We got in a routine of spending late morning and early afternoon at the beach in the shade of palm trees with a nice breeze. Then we would return here to use the pool before dinner. A couple times we carried the chaises to the pool area. They are so much more comfortable than the plastic chaises.
It has been so relaxing, getting back to our "real lives" won't be easy. Our favorite food was at Coco's.
The sunsets are spectacular. We enjoyed star gazing at night on the lanai and feel sorry for those that don't have one.
Thank you for the wonderful time!
Karen & Ron
Very clean and gorgeous property with fantastic views and a great pool. Has everything you need and more. Close walk to the beach with daily monkey sightings. We had no complaints during our 5 night stay. The property manager Nick was great and made sure our stay was perfect. Samara is a gem. Would definitely stay here again!
Second visit for our family to Condo # 4. Great location, short drive to town (supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, etc.), very well equipped from kitchen to bedroom, A/C worked great in July Samara heat, gorgeous pool in what you would feel is the middle of the jungle.
We stayed for 9 nights in April 2016 It was the most relaxing vacation we have ever taken. It is the perfect getaway for a couple. The Condo had a full kitchen that was very important to us, as we love to cook, we even found a BBQ in the laundry room. A small fish market and butcher shop and fresh produce all walking distance. We had a car and would always rent a car, so you can check out other beaches. The views are second to none. You can stare out the front windows at the Ocean all day. Loved that all the windows opened for a breeze, Nick the host was great, and our pal at the front gate, and of course Chester the dog. We brought our own spices to cook with, super comfy bed. I could write more awesome comments, but back to work now to save money for our return trip.
. I’ll be back, for sure – POOL WAS AMAZING! Thanks Lisa & Chuck
Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our stay at this property and left after two nights (booked for 5 nights).
When we arrived, we discovered that one of the air conditioners was not working and the property manager informed us that there was no spare parts for this AC and it could not be fixed. The temperatures outside were in high 90’s, the windows and doors in the unit had cracks around them and it was hard to keep the temperature in the unit at a comfortable level.
Moreover, we rented the unit for the ocean views, but discovered that as soon as we opened the blinds the unit heated up instantly since the windows are single pane.
On the check-in day there was a lot of construction noise from drilling and hammering in one of the adjacent units which continued into late evening. We contacted the property manager and were told that it was an emergency repair of a pipe.
The queen-size mattress was very uncomfortable (when one person turns even slightly the whole mattress moves and wakes up the other person). So, one of us ended up sleeping on the sagging couch in the living room.
The next morning, there was a leak in the bathroom faucet. The water ran into the bedroom and soaked a laptop bag. We contacted the property manager again and he had the leak fixed the same day.
The second afternoon we were in the unit, the construction noise (hammering) was going on again. Loud enough that we could not take a nap or watch a movie. The unit is in the building that has a number of vacant units in various stages of remodeling, so it was hard to pinpoint where the noise was coming from.
At that point, we contacted the owner and told him that there were too many issues with the unit and that we would be leaving the following day. In his response, he implied that we were lying regarding the construction noise!
Upon return to the US, we contacted the owner again and asked if he would consider a refund for the last three nights that we did not stay in the unit. He said that other guests had no issues, there was no construction noise and that Costa Rica is always hot, therefore no refund.
As a VRBO owner myself, I would have never handled any issues with my guests in this manner... We stayed in a number of wonderful places in Costa Rica , so this was the only negative experience in the otherwise great vacation.
Had a great time. Condo is within walking distance to beach and town. Excellent restaurants nearby.
Could use some updates.
This is beautiful condo. Place was very clean and and and was well stocked with bedding / linens and cookware. Stunning views from balcony and pool. Pool is absolutely fantastic. Five minute walk to town and beach. Samara is a wonderful town with great restaurants and bars and is really safe. You can stay out to all hours of the night with no worries. There is ton of stuff to do whether it be fishing, snorkeling, surfing, horseback ridding or other excursions like renting quads or day trip up to the rain forest where you can zip line or hike. This was my second stay here. The property manager Nick is great, we had a problem with the AC unit upon arrival and Nick had someone there at 10 am the next day it was fixed in 20 minutes and no problems the rest of the stay. He is also great at arranging transportation or directing you to any activities you want to do. Security / maintenance guys ( great guys but very little english ) are on site 24/7 and the place is very secure and safe.
