Surrounded by three lakes is Klein Partwitz centrally in emerging Lusatian Lakeland. During the flooding of former lignite mines here will be Europe's largest man Lakelands. Many lakes are still in the flooding phase. Lake Senftenberg and Lake Geierswalde when first useable lakes, already offer a wide range of water sports. A well-developed road network of about 100 km around the lakes invites for cycling or skating.
