Secluded Cabin on Wooded Acreage is Recreationalist's Paradise

Bedrooms 1
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 2 nights

About the property

Cabin, sleeping loft includes 1 queen and 2 twin beds. 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

A perfect place for your family vacation or couples getaway. Enjoy Grand Teton Views from our deck, or sit around the fire in the back yard. We have had an incredible Summer and the afternoon sprinkles have kept everything very green. This property is simply unique when the aspens are quaking and the spring runoff is trickling below into the headwaters of the Teton River. If you plan on several activities or your goal is to simply relax and enjoy the serenity of the deck, the wildlife, and the intoxicating views, we would love to accomodate you.

The cabin is simple with an open floor plan. It is impeccably maintained and windows allow much natural sunlight. The kitchen, dining, living, full bath and laundry room are on the first floor. Walk up a handmade spiral staircase to a spacious loft which hosts two separate sleeping areas. Although the rooms are not completely separated, there are two distinct sleeping areas. One side of the loft offers a double bed and a closet. The other side has two twin beds and a closet. In the summer season, you can fall asleep with the screened windows open to the sound of Little Pine Creek, the headwaters of the Teton River which flow through this valley.

The cabin sits on the edge of a bench overlooking a heavily wooded valley floor housing Little Piney Creek. The outdoor jacuzzi also sits on the edge of the bench for an incredible view. Our porperty is a perfect habitat which draws in a variety of wildlife, large and small. Moose, deer, and foxes have all travelled through here. Residen beavers have built dams in the waters below and lived with their growing families for several seasons. This past spring a pair of Sandhill Cranes built a nest and protected their single egg until it hatched and remained there throughout the summer. This is a special, tranquil, quiet place.

Why Katie Cisco chose Teton Valley

We live in this beautiful area year round. This special property belongs to our whole family and is available for short-term renting.

What makes this cabin unique

This cabin is special because it is very private. The 5 acres allows you to be very secluded from any neighbors. As a result, it is nice and quiet. The yard, fire pit, picnic table, deck furniture and flowing headwaters just down hill from the deck make enjoying the outdoors very easy and attractive. Grilling out and enjoying a campfire afterward is an experience not many get to partake in if they choose to stay in a hotel or condo. The town of Victor is just 4 miles down the road with a variety of restaurants and a few shops. Driggs, a little bit larger town is just 8 miles beyond Victor and is the gateway to Grand Targhee Ski and Summer Resort. Jackson, Wyoming is 30 miles over Teton Pass.

Pine Creek Cabin was a wonderful retreat

  • 5 of 5

Katie was great to communicate with us via email prior to our arrival to answer any question we had and to make sure we could locate the cabin. The cabin has a lot of charm and stunning views of the sunrise over the Tetons from the back deck. We loved watching the hummingbirds at the feeder and eating out on the deck at the picnic table as well. The cabin was clean, and the kitchen had lots of room. It is a beautiful drive from the cabin to Jackson and Grand Teton National Park. The living space was comfortable with lots of windows. You do have to be a little careful on the spiral staircase - not a problem for our family with two adults and two teenagers - but a consideration if you have young children or older adults. We would definitely stay there again and were glad to have the rural, quiet charm of our home away from home. It was what we were hoping for!

No toilet paper!!

  • 3 of 5

We arrived at night and could not find the cabin!! There were not any markers on the road and I think we probably scared some neighbors with our headlights. The upstairs bedrooms stayed pretty warm since it was July, and we woke up finding no toilet paper. The owner quickly brought some though. The cabin is cute and the deck out back fabulous with great views. We also loved watching Forrest Gump on VHS because our kids hadn't seen it.

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking time to share your experiences, and let me know where I can fill in the gaps. My apologies for the TP, small spot to store excess supplies, but I will make certain there is a surplus and until now, I had no idea you were out searching in the dark. That is the reason I always provide guests with my cell so you are able to text/call at anytime. I would have gladly answered and guided you right in. I live less than 1/2 mile from the cabin. We have since placed a larger post with address numbers closer to the road with reflectors to make after-dark arrivals more stress free. We hope if you make your way here again, you will give us a holler. Again, thank you for your feedback.

Charming Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

Such a great place to stay when visiting Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole! Clean, comfortable and secluded sweet cabin that is close to everything but incredibly private. Excellent views from the back deck with a clean and relaxing hot tub. Victor is a simpler version of Jackson Hole with great restaurants and brew pubs. Such a great find! We loved our stay and would highly recommend this property to others!

Magical Stay

  • 5 of 5

Loved this secluded cabin in the cool vibe of Victor, Idaho. Cabin was better than we had imagined with its secluded location and great views of the Tetons. From this location we had short drives to explore GTNP and hike to Phelps Lake and Ski Lake, two accessible hikes (for 60 year old moderately fit individuals) that were gorgeous. Fire pit and hot tub were great additions. We looked at the spiral stairway to the sleeping quarters as a unique adventure. Loved breakfast at local Scratch and Sherwood's Post and shopping a the local grocery market. BBQ at Big Hole barbecue was delicious as was beer at Grand Teton brewery. Hope to return someday to this beautiful cabin and setting.

Affordable and Comfortable Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this cabin as we explored Grand Teton National Park. It is located about 40 minutes from the park which was not too much for us to drive daily. The place was very clean and comfortable. We used the hot tub at night to relax and all four of us slept great both nights. The beds are all comfortable and the open concept layout of the kitchen/living/dining room is something we all appreciated. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals during our stay and the grocery store in town was awesome and only 5 minutes away - we passed it to and from the park so that was convenient. One thing that I wanted to make sure to mention was our little field mouse visitor on the first night. He climbed on the counter from behind the countertop we believe and found some of our snacks. After that we put our groceries/snacks in the fridge and cabinets and never saw him again! There was rat traps/pellets to help our problem, but we decided he wasn't harming us so didn't take any action. That all being said, I would not hesitate to stay at this property again!
