Lived in Miami for 35 years. We enjoy the Florida Keys because it is the best place to fish, swim and relax while sipping a nice glass of wine and watching the beautiful Sunset!!

Plenty of room and very clean

First impression when we got there was this place was really nice and clean. It met my expectations. We stayed 9 nights here during the Christmas and New Years holidays and this is what I thought of the place. There were 4 adults and plenty of room so you did not feel on top of each other.

The bed we slept in was comfortable. It was a little firm but that is what I like. The living room and our bedroom had nice tv”s and the channel selection was better than any hotel.

The kitchen had all the pots and pans and utensils needing to cook with.

Parking was good we had a full size pickup, suv and a tandem axle boat trailer that was able to be parked in front.

On the canal side there was room enough to dock my 22” center console I would say there was room enough for maybe another foot or two longer boat.

Another advantage to this place it is part of Sexton Cove which has an association boat launch. It is not the longest ramp but was able to get boat in and out easy enough. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful during the day and at night.

Every review has to have one negative and for me it was the grill. I grill during all seasons even in the winter up here in Michigan. The grill was a little older and and had been used a lot. The lid didn’t close all the way and the burner shields needed attention but it still worked.

Overall the the experience was great and would definitely come back.

As for the owners, Barbara was great with communication. If i emailed a question she answered very quickly by the next day.

Very charming!

A very nice place to spend vacations with your family. Clean, quiet, right next to a waterway. Excellent location, a walking distance from a grocery store, major attractions within an easy reach. And, yes, manatees do visit this place.
