Joan Boule, Diversified Holdings Inc. purchased this house in 1994
So we could rent to a group of Friends or Families to enjoy for the winter ski season, and we use it in the remainder of the year.
This is a large unique contemporary home with a lot of charm, with a great location, easy access straight in driveway with a lovely pond for ice skating, gorgeous mountain views of Pico, Killington and Mendon Mountains, and close to many attractions.
I just came back from spending 4 nights at this incredible house. There were 14 of us on a ski vacation to Pico, 4 families with our young adult children in there 20's. Upon arrival I was so happy to see a beautiful house with beautiful snow covered property. Inside the house was spotless and huge! Everything you need is there from spices to extra linens and lots of extra towels. The pictures on the website are spot on but the house is even lovelier in person. There are two refrigerators, one upstairs, one downstairs which was great because we made our dinners ahead of time so we were free after skiing to relax by the cozy fireplace or wood stove. James is the local manager and he couldn't be nicer, there for anything you may need.
Joan is the owner and is terrific in her correspondence, always getting back to me quickly and effeciently, never minding any questions I had.
We skied Pico which we have been to before and LOVE. Conditions were fantastic and there never seems to be a long line. I love the people there. The best part is, that the house is about 6 minutes away!
I would go back to this house in a minute and I hope I get the chance to. Do not hesitate to stay here!
The pictures don't do this place justice. In the pictures, you may think that the place looks 'retro', but its not. The place is beautiful and very comfortable with plenty of space. We had 12 middle aged guys staying there, and nobody had any issues at all. The view is wonderful. The appliances and hot tub were all excellent. It's everything we hoped for at an affordable price. We also wanted to order additional channels (sporting events), the manager was extremely attentive and quick in responding to our request. I'm looking forward to booking this place next year.
We were a total of 10 adults and 2 kids and stayed here for 5 nights through new years eve. Everything about this house was perfect. The setting and location of the property was the highlight. Waking up every morning to the amazing mountain views was fantastic. Also, the proximity to Pico and Killington was extremely convenient. Pico is a great mountain if you want to avoid the big Killington crowds and it would take us just 15 minutes from the time we left the door each morning to the time we were up on the lifts. Also, the house sits on a beautiful private road where the kids loved sledding and playing in the snow.
The house was clean, well-maintained and everything (grill, hot tub, fireplace, wood stove, wi-fi, electronics etc.) functioned perfectly. Beds were comfortable and the house had all the supplies we could possibly need. The owner and property managers were very accommodating and were always quick to respond to any of our requests / questions which made planning every detail of our trip that much more convenient.
We look forward to being back!
we rented this house last year and again this year. The reason, a butiful house in excellent condition, neat and as clean as could be. When I called the management the response was quick and helpful.
Close to the Killington access road and Rutland makes this an ideal location. We had a great reunion in a butiful house with a fantastic view. I enjoyed wathing the Dear run by the house and over the pond. Looking forward to next year.
My friends and I had a reunion weekend here and had a wonderful time. The house was well equipped with all the necessities.
While not on the Killington Access Rd, it was an easy drive to the mountain for those who ski and a short ride to Rutland as well.
The owners and property manager were great to deal with and we hope to vacation here again.
