About the property

Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-5)

Wailea Ekahi is a wonderful beachfront complex. It boasts 4 pools, a great beach side pavilion where you can host your parties. It is part of the Wailea Golf association, so we can enjoy a discount at all the famous Wailea golf courses, or join the Wailea tennis club nearby.

43 B is a single-level, ground floor condominium for your convenience. It has a lovely garden view and is steps to a quiet pool (one of four). It has 2 lanais, a large one accessible from the living room and kitchen, with teak furniture and a gas grill. And a small lanai with access from the enlarged master bedroom, with a garden of ginger and orchids. The unit has been completely remodeled with brand new appliances, granite counter tops, whisper quiet fans, new flooring, etc.

It is also uniquely away from the path that leads to the beach, so that you have complete privacy while on your lanai(patio).

Upgrade your wailea experience in this lovely renovated Condo. Come and visit this little piece of paradise and fall in love with Maui like I have.

About Sonya Hansen

I travel extensively but always feel very lucky to be able to come home to Maui. I love the beach and especially Keawakapu at sunset.

Sonya Hansen purchased this condo in 2009

Why Sonya Hansen chose Wailea

Ever since my first to Wailea Ekahi, I fell in love with the complex. The tranquility of the setting, and the lovely grounds. The manicured lawns, the fabulous beachside cabana where I have hosted many parties and enjoy sunsets overlooking Keawakapu beach. When this condominium became available I decided to remodel it and turn it into the place I could go to relax, enjoy the best of Maui, and share it with my guests. I intend to retire there one day. Let ume share with you this little piece of paradise. Aloha!

What makes this condo unique

I live on Maui and will be happy to help if something goes wrong. I will make available to you all the beach toys as well as my knowledge of the local hot spots and the best places to dine. I want to make sure that your stay is a memorable one and that you will want to return. You will love Wailea Ekahi, its pools, the tennis and golf, the superb beach, morning walks on the grounds, the beach, the proximity to the shops of Wailea and the restaurants nearby. The unit has been upgraded with top of the line appliances and granite counter tops for your comfort. Come and see for yourself!

Guestbook comments from the owner

The Perfect Spot

  • 5 of 5

The condo itself was perfect. It was spacious and had everything we could possibly want for our stay. The village itself was quiet at night so we slept really well. It took 5 minutes to walk to the fabulous beach and the pool was 1 minute away! What more could you ask? Well, we were only a 10-15 minute walk away from the Wailea Mall where we went for Happy Hour and evening meals; walking meant we could drink without debating who was going to drive back! Walking back at night was no problem as the footpath had ground lights all the way. The Wailea walk all along the front was spectacular at sundown, highly recommended, and don't be put off by the hotel signs, you have the right to walk all the way along in front of them. What else? Oh, we went Kayaking and snorkelling, and took a trip to Molokini whilst staying here. Saw loads of turtles and beautiful fish. I wish we could have stayed longer in this condo. If we are ever lucky enough to travel from Australia again we would stay here in a heart beat.

Very clean condo- well equipped.

  • 4 of 5

This condo surpassed my expectations. It was equipped with everything one could need for their vacation including hair dryer, cooler, beach chAirs, surfboard, boogie boards, snorkel gear, rafts, washer and dryer, fully stocked kitchen, more towels then you could ever use, fans and plenty of books! Our family was very comfortable in this clean condo. The only reason I didn't give it the fifth star was the distance from the beach. It is a ten minute walk to the beach simply because the paths are very windy and hilly. On days we simply couldn't wait to get there we just drove 2 minutes to the public lot next to the beach. Also, the beachside pool was beautiful and well stocked as well! We had access to the ice maker at the pool house as well as the stoves and refrigerators. The pool was heated and there is plenty of lounge chairs and tables. We were able to see whales right from our lounge chair. The beach here is perfect as well. Plenty of sand and a quick walk to the Wailea beach path. Just beautiful!

Paradise truly, a must stay!

  • 5 of 5

Our first time at Ekahi Village, arriving very late, we were unsure of the check in procedures but were kindly reassured by the owner, Sonya. The unit is spacious, clean and comfortable. 'Homey' in the way it has been decorated with lovely vases from around the world and wall of fiction and non fiction reading, if you desire. The lanai in the back is private and is perfect for enjoying the outdoors. Steps away is the 3rd pool, which is not busy, so it seems very much like a private pool to enjoy from 7am to 10pm. The property is magnificent, the landscaping, the natural fauna and flora in 35 acres, nothing neglected, everything is just perfect. I was snapping pictures all the time. This was a wonderful stay in Wailea! Other than the noisy birds that wake too early (only deterrent) we will definitely be returning back. Mahalo. Monica

2nd Time As Good As First

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here 2 years ago. Property was in the same condition as last... excellent condition, very clean, new beach chairs and umbrella (Mahalo), and the owner was quick on responses all the way around. Past reviews tell the story... but having a responsive owner who maintains their property so well is the reason we will return with no worries.

Lovely condo

  • 4 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay in this condo. The Wailea Ekahi property is lovely and well maintained with easy access to the beach. The condo itself was clean, comfortable and very private. The owner was easy to work with and quickly responded to any of my emails. The only issue I had was the lack seat cushions for the outdoor teak chairs & sitting in them was hard on my bottom! I improvised by using folded up towels but cushions would have been better. We had a lovely visit and would stay here again.
