Why Daniel Barroso chose Playa Langosta
We fell in love with Costa Rica the first time we visited in August, 2000. We enjoy the beaches of Guanacaste as well as the diverse activities the area offers. The surfing, golfing, fishing, turtle watching, horseback riding, zip-lining, and boating are all great. And the restaurants are world class!!
What makes this House unique
Casa Paquita is an extraordinary location, directly on the Pacific Ocean. When you awaken in the morning and open the curtains the blue waters of the Pacific are very calming. Just walk out the back gate and you are on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It is very spiritual!!! We had a lovely stay! Beautiful pool, spectacular view, and a well equipped house. We loved the location - easy drive into town with our golf carts. Daniel did a fantastic job with communication and arranging everything for all our needs. Can’t wait to return!
A fabulous Family vacation
A very exclusive vacation spot for a Family Vacation. Close to the town of Tamarindo with an infinity pool and access to the Beach
We had many elaborate meals at home prepared by an excellent cook and a couple of helpers. They were presented well and served with love and care
The pool area offers a wonderful gathering place to hang out
Excursion suggested by Danielle were right on spot so we did some relaxing and yet explored Costa Rica
Beautiful house in a great location
We stayed at Casa Paquita for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Daniel was awesome arranging transportation and dinner, and was there whenever we needed assistance. The house is gorgeous, and the perfect location to get to town or the beach. The housekeepers did a wonderful job cleaning daily, the pool was cleaned daily, and the security guard was great at night.
I Wish I Could Give More Stars
Incredible. Daniel is the most thorough and amazing host. He set up all transportation, privately cooked meals, groceries, golf carts, and made us feel safe and secure. The staff was awesome. The house was clean and exactly as it is described on here. We stayed with 12 people and the house could have fit double. Tons of space and the perfect amount of rooms. Breathtaking views and a spectacular pool. In my opinion, the golf carts were necessary to get to downtown Tamarindo, but you could always walk.
The excursion Daniel booked for us was epic. It should be on a catalog for Costa Rica. Jump off a small waterfall, zip line hundreds of feet in the air, horse back ride, and a white water kayak experience. I couldn’t believe we were able to do it all in one day.
Hats off to Daniel, anything that I asked him to set up he did at precisely the time we talked about. He got our group the best rates on everything. He even gave us the receipts to show how much the groceries were for. A wonderful host, staff, and house. I can’t wait to return. Thanks again!
Perfect stay for our family of 11!
The location of Casa Pequita is awesome, it is a short walk or drive to so many beautiful beaches. The beach outside the house is rocky but we actually loved it! It was so fun for the kids to explore during low tide and the sea shells were beautiful. The house was amazing in every way! The furniture was nice and comfortable, the kitchen updated, and the whole house was very open and spacious.
The staff was great, they cleaned the house and pool, did laundry, etc. We had the chefs cook us traditional Costa Rican breakfast and dinner every day and our whole group loved every single thing they made. Some of our favorites were the fried plantains, salsas, guacamole, ribs, carne asada and mahi mahi.
Daniel was a great host! He organized transportation to and from the airport, set up surf lessons and stocked the house with food before our late arrival. He was always available for any of our needs and checked in on us daily.
Tamarindo is a fun little town with shops for souvenirs, great surf spots and restaurants on the beach.
It was a 2+ hour drive each way into the rainforest so we decided not to go but there were plenty of local activities.
We could have stayed here forever and will definitely be back for our next stay!
We had a group of 9, enjoyed Tamarindo and surrounding areas. Cooks were excellent, Daniel’s excursions were well executed. House has good bones but signs of neglect. First night we lost air conditioning in the bunk room and downstairs bedroom, had to move the kids to casita, not ideal if yours are younger. Then a scorpion fell from replaced ac unit onto a child in bed. Ants occupying casita shower. Then we ran out of water. Then we ran out of propane for kitchen stove mid meal. These things should have been addressed prior to our arrival. Kitchen sink faucet is falling apart. Upstairs bathroom is clogged. Cleaning person was adequate but we washed our own towels and folded them on several occasions. We know it’s Costa Rica and fighting the environment is an issue, but having to text about maintenance issues is frustrating. House needs a little bit of TLC, but our vacation did not suffer. Had a great time in the area
Zip-lining, fishing, sailing, surfing, horseback riding and ATV's.
