This 3,600 square foot, luxury, vacation home is nestled in the Smoky Mountains on Lake Nantahala in beautiful North Carolina. The two-story home features lake views from all rooms as well as covered decks on both levels. There is a great room on each level and a game room with a video arcade game, ping pong, and air hockey tables. A gradual terrain walkway leads to a floating boat/swim dock. Boat rentals are available at a nearby marina or you can bring your own boat and dock it at the house.
Lake Nantahala is the second highest lake east of the Mississippi River and is beautiful in summer, spring, fall, or winter. Lake Nantahala was mentioned as one of the top ten cleanest man made lakes in the world. And because only five percent of its shoreline can be built out, the lake is not crowded and you’ll enjoy the true beauty of the lake and mountains.
The Nantahala area is popular for whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, camping, fishing, mountain hiking and biking, and snow skiing. The Cherokee Indian Reservation & Casino is also located nearby.
Additional Features: two stone fireplaces, satellite TVs, DVDs, VCRs, stereo with deck speakers, CD player, gas grill, phone, air conditioning, full kitchen, microwave, dishwasher, two refrigerators, ice maker, cooking utensils, linens, washer and dryer, jetted tub in master, two king beds, one queen bed, bunk room that sleeps six and two sleeper sofas.
It is our goal to make sure you have the perfect vacation. We include in our detailed rental package a listing of area activities and phone numbers so you can plan before you leave home. Our previous renters have been very happy with our home/service.

Peaceful and absolutely Gorgeous!
We all thoroughly enjoy staying at Sweet Surenity! The house had everything we needed to enjoy time away from busy day to day life. The kitchen was stocked with equipment better than any house I have every rented! Everything was very clean and beds were super comfortable! We enjoyed every minute! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your Lovely home!!
Beautiful home in a quiet mountain town
Overall great time! Property was clean, and well stocked with everything you may need, House had lots of fun things to do. The drive to get to town is a bit lengthy and treacherous however the house made it worth it!
What a great family vacation. The house is beautiful, clean and has everything you need.
Loved this home and we will be returning soon. Tammie is very detailed and great to work with.
Amazing Lake House Cabin
We had the best time at this premium property! Well appointed family cabin with space and all the fixings. We enjoyed boating from and hanging on the dock in a sweet little cove, cooking in the fabulous kitchen and enjoying shared meals. The kids (and adults) enjoyed the ping pong table and air hockey and really we couldn't have asked for anything more out of this vacation property. A++
This was a phenomenal rental- spacious, awesome great room, kitchen well equipped. The cove was off the main lake so it was quiet and out of wake area for swimming. The dock has a lovely large umbrella to seek shade if desired. The water is just perfect- green, clear, cool. So much time was spent on that amazing deck with amazing views! Tammie was easy to communicate with and the house had everything we would need.
OUR 3rd STAY AT THIS LUXURY CABIN
My husband and I along with my daughter's family of 6 have stayed at this property 3 times since 2010 and each time we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property has been well maintained and improved over the years. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, even on rainy days. Ping pong, air hockey and card games were played when out side wasn't an option due to weather. Plus, the covered portions of the deck allowed for reading or napping at anytime.
We rented a pontoon boat from Dave Raxter each time and it was there and ready when we arrived. The dock is a great area for just jumping in the lake or just relaxing and watching the others jump in the lake. There are several water related accessories provided, such as a canoe, kayaks and floats.
The fire pit area was used nightly to cook steaks, pork roast, corn, potatoes, etc. over an open fire. We brought our own grate to grill on, but the wood is provided. Sitting around the fire was a nice way to end the day.
One thing we enjoyed each time we come is boating and hiking back to the hidden waterfall on the lake. It's worth the search. Plus, Wayah Bald is also interesting, especially this year. It was burnt in the fires of 2016 and is starting a come back. I liked Calaboose Cellars and Brewery in Andrews, and white water rafting at the NOC. Not to mention, everywhere we went, the people are so friendly. Overall the cabin and the area is a great place to unwind.
Tammie describes the property very well so there are no surprises. If you read her description you can plan accordingly. So we prepared the kids, big and little (ages 12-63), about the slow internet and guess what? Everyone survived and enjoyed their stay.
A GREAT TIME HAD BY ALL!!!!
Thank you Tammie for having this available.
