About Vacasa, WA - Long Beach Peninsula Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

A humble but comfortable spot.

We loved it. Don’t expect anything high end, but the location and wood burning stove were perfect for what we wanted.

Charming little cottage in December

 • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed staying in the charming little cottage. The neighborhood is full of older homes, it was fun to walk around, and particularly to walk to the beach. It was a bit cold for us, having the wood stove going was essential as temperatures really dropped. Might choose to go during a warmer month next time, but we did enjoy the coziness of the wood stove. There was no French press as promised in the kitchen supplies, otherwise we were able to cook meals in the small kitchen. My primary suggestion is to upgrade the beds. I wouldn't want to go back until I know this has been done, as the lumpy beds were very uncomfortable.

I should have looked at the photos better.

We paid for two nights but only stayed for one. Neither my wife or I wanted to spend any more time than we had to in this place.

The only positive was it allowed pets so we could take our dog with us.

I should have looked at the pictures closer.

I could write about what my wife and I didn't like about this rental, but instead, I'll just mention that we paid for two nights, and only stayed for one.

Come morning we were looking for something more livable.

I knew for the price we wouldn't be getting a luxurious rental, but this one fell somewhat below our modest tastes.

They do allow pets, though, so they have that going for them.

Don't think my wife and I have extravagant tastes or expectations, we often rent humble, rustic, or even ancient, homes or cabins in Montana.

But, hey, this maybe just the place you are looking for, check out the photos and decide yourself.
