Leave the crowds and tourist on the other islands and head to Molokai! Ke Nani Kai is a low rise condominium complex situated on Molokai's gentle west slope to the Pacific Ocean. Some of Molokai's best beaches are only a short walk away. Ke Nani Kai also has the best tennis courts, swimming pool and the islands only hot tub.
This is one of the most beautiful condos at Ke Nani Kai. It has been completely renovated and everything is sparkling clean and new. It's a large end unit on the second floor giving you more privacy, a vaulted beamed ceiling and a partially covered wrap around lanai. The lanai is a great place to relax, read, dine or catch some sun. We know you will enjoy the cleanliness and comfort our unit provides and appreciate the island decor and features like granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, comfortable furniture. The unit also has two Queen beds with top of the line mattresses.
We look forward to welcoming you to 245 Ke Nani Kai!

We love all of the islands of Hawaii, but Molokai is as they say 'mo beta'.
Dan Dorn purchased this condo in 2002
Molokai seems to have been forgotten in time and is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. You can relax and truly get away.
This was our first trip to Molokai after many years of going to Kauai. #245 was welcoming. Dan provided explicit instructions as to how to find the complex in the dark. Beautifully furnished in understated Hawaiian style, this corner unit with large deck, is spiffy clean and well equipped. Has the advantage of being very close to the fabulous pool designed for real swimming as well as play. As Molokai has limited dining opportunities, we loved coming home to our own lanai for a light and easy dinner. Find the Kumu farm early in your stay for fresh produce. Although the abandoned resort and golf club next door is a little eerie, there are miles of trails (old golf cart tracks) for walking along the ocean and beaches. A thrill to see the monk seals hauled out and sunning themselves. We would love to return to #245
We really enjoyed Molokai, and this was a perfect place to stay. The unit is lovely, and had absolutely everything we needed in a lovely, well cared for complex. We were a 5 minute walk to a fabulous beach for walking and viewing the surfers and the sunsets. The strolls through the deserted golf course provide great bird watching and peaceful seclusion. There are numerous other beaches to walk to and the best swimming beach is only a ten minute drive away. The island seems like what I imagine Maui would have been 75 years ago-so unspoiled! Dan was so helpful providing information and island tips.
Well, we just got back from our second trip to Molokai and unit 245. It felt like we were coming home. The condo is so beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Being an end unit you get to enjoy a huge lanai with lounge chairs as well as a table and four chairs for eating outside. We love that the area is quiet and you can walk to several secluded beaches with no one on them or take a short drive to Dixie Maru for great snorkeling. The little store down the road or the grocery store in the nearby town offer enough variety that you don't have to drive too far for groceries unless you want to be out exploring the island. We would deiniftely recommend this property to anyone visiting Molokai.
Molokai is the real Hawaii! The people are friendly, the beaches are beautiful and the pace is slow and relaxing. We enjoyed everything about Molokai and the Dorn's condo is outstanding. It's even more beautiful than the pictures. It is beautifully furnished, well stocked kitchen, immaculately clean and so comfortable. We loved the island motif and warm sunny colors. We enjoyed every meal on the wrap around lanai watching the peacocks, turkeys and swaying palm trees. We enjoyed the lovely pool and hot tub almost every day. Dan and Laura are wonderful hosts making sure everything was perfect for us. We loved the nearby beaches for swimming and snorkeling or just watching the sunset and the surfers. There are many things to do on Molokai if you love the out of doors and adventure. Or you can simply relax and read a book. We did it all and will definitely be back and will only stay at this beautiful condo. Mahalo!
Molokai is not for everyone. You probably won't like it much if you are looking for someone else to entertain and serve you. It is not that kind of island. If you love beautiful beaches, where you are often the only ones there, lots of wildlife, stunning scenery and friendly but simple people, then it might be a good match for you.
If you are looking to stay in a sparkiing clean, beautifully appointed place, with an amazingly well- stocked kitchen, this is surely one of the best you'll find on Molokai.
We enjoyed the wrap-around lanai, especially in the mornings for breakfast. One afternoon, I spotted a gorgeous brilliant blue peacock sitting in the crook of the tree a few feet below the lanai.
This condo is nicely located near the office, pool, and jacuzzi. This same area houses a great gas grill and picnic area which we enjoyed for several casual dinners. It was rare to find more than a few other people in the entire area, despite the sparkling pool and spa tub.
Molokai is an amazing island, with so many things to see and do if you enjoy exploring. However, you could have a great vacation simply by exploring the area and beaches that are within walking distance of Ke Nani Kai.
Dan, one of the owners, was great to deal with and very enthusiastic about Molokai. Since we'd been to Molokai before, and had some knowledge of the island, we didn't discuss too much, but I am certain he would take the time to share what he knows and loves about the island.
Although we'd stayed at Ke Nani Kai before, it wasn't until this visit that we learned the translation of the name of the resort: The beautiful sea.
Beautiful island. Beautiful sea. Beautiful place to stay.
My husband, teen and I came for one week .We all thought it was a great place to stay. We enjoyed down time in the condo which was very nicely appointed, well equipped and comfortable, a very relaxing place to stay, quiet and with lots of areas for walks and runs close to the ocean. We had no idea that a Hawaiian island could be this rural/ slow paced and would love to return. Some great hiking in the preserve.
The communication with Dan and information sent was very helpful.
Hiking, exploring, historical sights, fish ponds, ride the mules or hike Kalaupapa Peninsula and deserted beaches.
