House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)
Romantic Key West style cottage in historic downtown Wilmington -- two bedrooms each with full size bed, and one HUGE bathroom complete with claw foot tub. Walk to the River, shopping, bars, restaurants, live theater, and all the amenities that downtown has to offer.
The home has a large covered rear porch to enjoy the oriental garden and very private backyard. Although the house was built in the late 1800's, it was redone in this century retaining much of its original charm... high ceilings, hardwood and ceramic floors. The "cooks" kitchen, while minus a dishwasher, is fully equipped including blender, gas range, microwave, 'frig, and custom counter-top made of granite and exotic woods.

We had a great stay and truly enjoyed this lovely home
Property was very comfortable and enjoyed the back year and porch
Fraudulent listing the pictures must be 10 tears old
The owner is committing fraud by listing this site with the pictures she provided. The outside of the house in complete disrepair, dirty and cannot be used by a human or dog.
The furniture inside has been replaced with broken chairs, stained chairs and tables.
Dead cockroaches in the bath room. No soap, paper towels, or laundry soap as per her description. Smoke detector was painted over and I don't know if it worked.
Stayed 1 night only because we got in late, offered to pay for 1 night and VRBO fee ($226.00) , she refused the offer and said sue me. Never again.
Super cute cottage in great location!
I had a great time on my visit and loved this cottage! Very cute and comfortable with everything I needed. The yard was perfect for my small dogs and the porches were great for relaxing. I will stay here again!
Cute, family and dog friendly home in a great location
My wife and I went with our family of 5 (2 toddlers, 1 small dog) in late September. The house was within reasonable walking/stroller distance to the riverwalk and downtown restaurants. Drives to attractions outside of town (battleship NC, wrightsville, airlie, etc.) were all reasonable and we were happy with stayed within the charm of this great city. We really enjoyed our morning walks with the dog through the historic neighborhood. Wilmington is also especially dog friendly as dogs are sometimes welcome in shops and restaurants.
The house was reasonably stocked and apple fresh linens were provided.
Our only complaint was that the house needed some TLC. One of the front gate hinges was broken, some bathroom tiles were loose (which we covered with floor mat), and the house could have used a deep cleaning. We don't wear shoes inside and our socks would get soiled very fast. Keep that in mind if you have small children playing on the floor.
Would still come back with those caveats and Wilmington is a great town!
This house was perfect for our vacation stay!
We enjoyed every minute of our trip. The house was everything we had hoped for. We loved sitting on the back porch for a cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine at night. Andrea was very accommodating and helpful. The house was in a great location. Far enough from downtown to be quiet at night but close enough that we walked downtown every day with our one and a half year old. There isn't anything we would have changed about our stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cute house.
The home was very welcoming. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and I felt like I knew her for a long time. Everything was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Andrea let us bring our dogs and they had the perfect back yard to be outside. I would most definitely stay in this home again. The neighborhood felt very safe and is the perfect location.
