Elegant 2 BR/2 BA condo at 1020 Esplanade Avenue in the Old Italian Union Hall historic building. The building was built around 1835 and was later a gift to the General P.T. Beauregard’s wife. There are 24 individually owned units most of which are occupied full time by owners. This unit is a beautiful two story condo located on the first floor facing the courtyard.

The condo's first floor has a full kitchen, dining and living area with 3 French doors to the patio, very small den with a full bath (shower, no tub). The second floor has a master bedroom with king size bed and a second bedroom with twin size beds with a full bathroom (tub & shower) between the bedrooms. Both bedrooms overlook the large, traditional New Orleans courtyard.

The courtyard contains a swimming pool, charcoal grill, small kitchenette to service the pool and courtyard area, and a bathroom as well as a laundry room with 2 coin operated washers and 2 coin operated dryers. There is also a small washer/dryer in the unit in the guestbedroom closet. The unit is fully furnished.


Electricity, garbage, phone, cable TV (basic & standard), and wireless internet included. The property goes from Esplanade all the way through to the parallel street, Barracks. There is a gated lot with a marked, 106, parking space a very short walk away. The gated lot is on the corner of Barracks and Rampart. No pets, no smoking.

The building is a short walk from many French Quarter restaurants and bars and a short walk from Frenchmen which also has many restaurants and bars. It is located on Esplanade between Rampart and Burgundy. This unit is within walking distance of all major French Quarter and Marigny destinations and landmarks. Despite its central location, the property itself is quiet and serene.

ABSOLUTELY no nightly or weekly rentals allowed - no exceptions. 60 day minimum rental. Accepting reservations for 2016 and 2017. Only availability at this time is December 2016 through January 2017 and June 2017 through August 2017.
