House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath (Sleeps 4)
You couldn't ask for a more convenient location! Our home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood at the north end of beautiful West Seattle. Walk 1/2-block up the street for a spectacular panoramic view of the moon over Elliot Bay, the Space Needle, and the downtown skyline.
Our location offers quick access to the stadiums for Seahawks football and Mariner's baseball!
This 1920's home is a classic gem. Two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, allow Luna Park Lower to sleep up to four guests. There is a spacious living room which features a fireplace and soaring coved ceilings. A fully equipped kitchen with breakfast nook, dining room, and full bathroom complete the space. Towels and linens are provided, as well as basic kitchen gear, coffee, wireless high-speed internet, and satellite tv. A portable crib is available upon request. Luna Park Lower is a pet-free property.
Luna Park Lower occupies the main floor of this shared house. The second floor, Luna Park Upper, is a completely separate vacation rental with its own entrance. There is a washer and dryer available in the basement that you may use during your stay, and a charcoal grill in the yard during summer months. The yard and basement are shared by all guests.
It is usually easy to find a parking spot on the street near the house (free parking, no permit required). Our small driveway is also available for guest use, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Luna Park Lower is located just 10 minutes from downtown Seattle. You will be just a few blocks away from the start of Harbor Ave, which is perfect for jogging, walking, biking and rollerblading to Alki Beach (Seattle's premiere beach). There is also a convenient water taxi (walk on ferry) to take you from the beach to downtown Seattle. The location also features easy bus access to downtown.
Within a few blocks of our house you will find a nice variety of restaurants and cafe/diners such as Luna Park Cafe, one of the best breakfast diners in Seattle. The Skylark features pub fare and live music on the weekends as does The Bridge, all within walking distance from our house. And you are a short drive to Alki Beach where you'll find a myriad of fine and casual dining choices.
This is the perfect jumping-off point for fantastic sightseeing, museums, the Pike Place Market, the Seattle Center (which houses the Pacific Science Center, Experience Music Project and Space Needle) Aquarium, Zoo, fine restaurants, ferries, and all of the hiking, skiing, and outdoor adventure that our surrounding mountains have to offer.

About Laura and Joe Ross
Having both owned houses before we married in February of 2009, we decided to try the vacation rental business rather than sell either. Our first guests were Laura's family, in town for the wedding. Since then, with Joe's work as an entertainer and our joint project of raising our three kids, we are plenty busy! However, we take pride in putting our visitors first and have really enjoyed meeting our guests and sharing the city we love with them.
Laura and Joe Ross purchased this House in 2008

Great value and convenient to downtown.
A “homey” older home with character and modern conveniences. Large rooms. Adequate parking almost always right in front of the house at any hour.

attractive neighbors and Quiet.
Such a great place to stay!
It was our first time in Seattle and i'm so happy with our entire stay including this charming home. So beautiful and everything was as described. Thanks Laura for making it all so easy. Definitely would recommend :)
Nice West Seattle Neighborhood
We had a very nice 3-night stay in Luna Park Lower. We enjoyed the convenient location in West Seattle and took advantage of being able to walk to several good restaurants and Trader Joe's. This older home has lots of personality and we appreciated the quiet neighborhood that can also boast an amazing view of the city at the end of the block. The house was clean, warm and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the linens were soft. The kitchen was stocked appropriately to prepare simple meals. The back garden had beautiful shrubs in bloom and I could see spending time out there - with drink in hand - when the weather is more fair. There was always available parking on the street. Communications were prompt and pleasant. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
Charming, clean, comfortable
Cute 2 bedroom, one bath house. Furniture is fine, well-stocked with kitchen, bath supplies. Even has toys and high chair, fire log.
We used this while visiting our daughter and family in West Seattle. Her family came over for pizza one night and it worked well for 5 extras for dinner. Parking can be an issue, but we did find a space within the block.
Nice couple owners, easy to work with.
Comfortable place to stay
Good place to stay. Easy access, very quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds, good TV channels, and fully equipped kitchen. Owners provide everything you need except food (towels, soap, hair dryer, etc.) The directions provided by the owners to get inside house were very easy follow. After our stay the owners promptly returned damage deposit...no problems at all.
The home is very clean and decorated really cute. It is an older home so you need to be okay with squeaky hardwood floors and older cabinets. We really like the place.
Only draw back was hearing the people staying in the upstairs unit (Luna Upper) and their young children running around. You have to be okay with these kind of noises to stay here.
