Guestbook comments from the manager

Craig and I just wanted to say thank you so so much! We had a wonderful time this past week at the Cozy Cabin. It truly is Enchanted! After 26 years he and I had the chance to reconnect. Second chance at first love. The cabin was perfect and very cozy. We enjoyed the area very much. It was so quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. It made for a majical week. We both hated to leave. Hopefully we can and will return again in the near future.

Thank you again for all your help.

Quiet and relaxing...

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was wonderful. It had a quiet and peaceful setting in a gated community. I was kind of worried it was going to be too secluded, but it wasn't bad at all. You can see a few cabins near it behind a line of trees. Somerset has anything you need and it's only 25 minutes away. As for the cabin itself, it is just as advertised. It has everything you need with the exception of food and toiletries. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, baking sheets, and small appliances. The one thing I would suggest is to update the mattresses and pillows. You can tell they are older. A lot of people have been hating on the decor choice, but honestly, I didn't mind it. I like antique looking things! Then there's the hot tub!!! Oh the hot tub...I spent many hours in there. However, the electricity flickered overnight during our stay. When the hot tub kicked back on all of the jets were going full blast. So, in the middle of the night I had to get the cover off and turn off the jets. All while being sprayed. It was pretty exciting haha...We will defiantly return. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for your thoughtful accommodations.

A Great, Relaxing, and Quiet Fall Retreat

  • 5 of 5

Everything about this cabin is simply perfect for one or two couples, or a small family. With the Hot Tub, gas grill, and sitting area ALL ON AN ENCLOSED PORCH, it was perfect to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.

The only thing that was missing from this property would be a dishwasher, but that turned into more bonding time/continued conversation for us.

I would definitely recommend this property to someone looking to get away from the congestion of daily life and enjoy the company of those close to you.

Very nice cabin

The cabin was clean and well maintained. It was a quiet area which was a plus. The screened in back porch is where we spent most of our time.

Everything was nice except the beds.

Property could be updated a bit decor wise. Just looks a little old with all the lace and old stuff.

Perfect for our little trip!

  • 4 of 5

The cabin itself is nice. It's small but has everything you need and the hot tub was wonderful after long days! We did have an issue locating the cabin. I used the map provided on the Home Away site and I ended up in an empty parking or next to a tackle store. After getting in touch with the owner, I found that the cabin was 17 minutes from the location that is shown on the map. It's about 6 miles up a curvy mountain road in Lake Cumberland Resort. It still worked for us, but if you're looking to be closer to Burnside or Somerset, you may want to look elsewhere. All in all, not bad.
