House is newly furnished with updated styles. Six people sleep comfortably and you’ll easily handle ten to twelve if company comes to visit. Spacious kitchen includes all conveniences (dishwasher / disposal / microwave / coffee maker / dishes / utensils / cookware). Well-lit dining area located off the kitchen. Living room with queen sleeper sofa looks out on the pool area. Family room has vaulted ceiling and a fireplace for cool winter evenings. Full laundry room with washer, dryer and large utility sink.
There are three bedrooms in the house. Master bedroom has a queen size bed and lots of storage as well as a walk-in closet. Bedroom #2 has queen size bed. Bedroom #3 has two twin beds – each bed also has a twin trundle, sleeping a total of four. Linens and towels included.
Heated pool is available for your use. Enjoy your time on the lanai relaxing or having a meal at the table set for six. The entire pool area is screened.
You’ll have access to our very own Golden Beach, which has deeded access only for the members of the Golden Beach neighborhood community. There are grilling, picnic and shower facilities for members at the access point. Casperson Beach, located at the southern tip of Venice Island, is the best location for finding prehistoric sharks' teeth. Venice Beach, also located on Venice Island where Venice Avenue meets the gulf, is a beautiful public beach with free parking, and all the amenities for a leisurely day in the sun.
The historic shopping area on the Island of Venice is filled with specialty boutiques, ice cream shops, restaurants, and fun and unique gift shops. Just off the island, you’ll find most major retailers. Several large grocery stores are also located nearby.
At Venetian Waterway Park, enjoy 10 miles of walking and biking paths along the Intercoastal Waterway. This path was a project of the Venice Area Beautification, Inc. The path begins near the recently renovated train depot and goes south down both sides of the Intercoastal Waterway to Casperson Beach. The Legacy Trail was opened in 2008 with more than 10 miles of bike path running from south of the City of Sarasota to Venice following along the former CSX railroad line.
