About Sabryna and Anthony

We're avid skiers and outdoor enthusiasts who love Maine in EVERY season. Loafers and 'adopted' Mainers since 2006, we can't visit without having at least 2 lobsters (its a family rule). While the skiing is amazing (we've convinced the best on the East Coast hands down) in recent years we've spent more time exploring the area in the summer - between hiking the AT +Bigelow, kayaking Flagstaff Lake, golf, and white water rafting. Unfortunately due to work, we can't be there every weekend and thus would like to share our special home with you!

A vacation to remember

  • 5 of 5

Usually in the summer I prefer to go to lakes. Instead this year I spent two weeks at this property and it was a dream. The property was clean, new, light, airy with passing deer and moose. The living space was very comfortable, especially after long days hiking the appalachian trail, which is about ten minutes away by car. At night we watched moose behind the visitors center. Despite being a winter resort, the mountain had a lot to offer summer visitors. Weekends were lively and the rec center opened early and closed late. At the week-ends there was always a crowd at local restaurants - a welcome sight after long days of hiking.

The owner of the property was always available and accomodating from a distance. On this vacation my family stayed in Manhattan, Boston, and Rhode Island, as well as this place on Sugarloaf. We all agree that the time on the mountain was the best spent.

Excellent condo for families

  • 5 of 5

We have been renting this unit for the past two years, and have had an excellent experience. The property is always very clean upon our arrival, and has everything a family needs to spend multiple nights in this property.

Nice Place

  • 4 of 5

Nice place at the Loaf. The first level of the condo is spacious as well as the master. 2 of the 3 bedrooms are relatively small with 2 twin beds occupying most of the floors space but this was not a problem for us with only 3 adults using the condo. Would have been 5 stars but we arrived ready to grill steaks and found that both propane tanks were completely empty. Be aware that the West Mountain lift does not typically run during the week but it was running on Saturday and Sunday while we were there. There are convenient shuttles available but just be aware that if the lift is not running then you will either need to use a shuttle or drive to the mountain which is ~3 minutes by car. You can still ski back to the condo regardless of whether the lift is running or not. Outdoor patio is nice. Would stay here again.
