Our Orlando three bedroom property is set in the beautiful lakeside community of Vista del Lago on Highway 192 and just 6 miles west of Disney and a short 35 minutes drive from Orlando International Airport.
It is within easy reach of Sea World and Universal Studios and the many retail outlets situated in the Orlando area. Legoland Florida is just 30mins drive away along US 27 near to Haines City.

The gated and fenced community is entered via a manned security gate using an electronic pass and the community is regularly patrolled 24hrs a day, 365 days of the year.
This safe community offers 3 Swimming pools, one of which is less than 100m from our Villa.
Other facilities at the main clubhouse include a Kiddies Pool, Hot Tubs and Sauna. There is even a Gym and Pool/Games Room. There is a small snack bar providing meals, ice creams and soft drinks throughout the day.
There are Basketball, Racquetball and Tennis Courts. Shuffleboard and Beach Volleyball areas.There is a Large Lake for fishing, boating or Jet-skiing.
There are excellent golf courses nearby including Orange Lake Golf Resort immediately next-door. Orange County National Golf Course is a short 9 mile drive away.
Our spacious property is tastefully furnished throughout, has two full bathrooms and is fully air conditioned. In the living room area, and new for 2016 are two 3 seater sofas, and a 48' LED Smart TV complimented by a USB Media player and Multi Region DVD Player with a large selection of films for all the family.
We have High Definition Cable TV with over 200 Channels installed along with Roadrunner Lightning (50mbps) High Speed Wireless Internet and Free Local, State and national telephone calls.
There is a Mini Hi Fi system with iPod/iPhone docking facility and a selection of popular music CD's.
In April 2012 a complete new IKEA kitchen was fitted with new counter tops, sink unit, taps, dishwasher and vinyl flooring. In July 2014 a new 40 gallon water heater was fitted and new bathtub to Master Bathroom.
The kitchen area has every conceivable item required with an electric stove and oven, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Smaller electrical items include a Panasonic Inverter microwave, Mr Coffee programmable coffee maker, Slow Cooker, Electric mixer, Toaster, Kettle, dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and all the utensils needed to prepare any meal.
The large dining table will accommodate 8 guests and in the kitchen area there is a an additional breakfast table and four chairs.
All three bedrooms have fitted wardrobes/walk in closets and Cable TV's installed.
The Master Bedroom has a Queen Bed and En Suite facilities. The 2nd Guest Bedroom has another Queen bed and the 3rd bedroom has Twin beds ideal for the kids.
There is also an Inflatable Queen Bed for those unexpected guests and overnight stays.
We have provided hairdryers, straighteners and an ironing board. All linens including optional bedding sets/sheets, bath, beach towels and dishtowels are provided.
After each occupancy our house keepers thoroughly clean the property and all bed linen and towels are changed and washed.
Our housekeeper lives on the community so is always available should our guests have any problems during their stay.
A screened porch area overlooking the rear garden is accessed from the kitchen area. It is equipped with a wicker type patio set to seat four people and a large fan to cool down and relax after an exhausting day at the parks.
Immediately outside the screened porch area is a paved patio area with recliners and chairs to soak up the glorious Florida sunshine.

Immediately off site is a small shopping complex with a variety of shops including a Pharmacy, Subway, Domino’s Pizza and Chinese Restaurant.
A short 2 mile drive to Rolling Oak Shopping Blvd offers a multitude of dining options including Texas Roadhouse, Longhorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden and Millers Orlando Ale House to name a few. For 2016 "Manny's Original Chophouse" will be opening a franchise.
Wal Mart, Publix and Target supermarkets are a 2 mile drive from the Community along with a number of banking facilities.

Purchasing a home in Vista Del Lago was an easy decision for us after renting vacation properties in Florida and then deciding it was time we owned our own home.
The Community has a genuine community feel to it with a lovely clubhouse with two pools, hot tubs, tennis courts and more.
The location is ideal with easy access to all of the main roads in the area. Disney World is 10 minutes away and the other main attractions are within 20 minutes drive. Shopping is made easy with Publix, Super Target, and Super Wal-Mart all within 2 miles of our home.
The Community is as quiet as you want it to be. You can choose to relax in privacy on the rear Patio area at the home or take a morning dip in the Clubhouse Swimming Pool and have a chat with the locals.
For those more energetic take a relaxing morning walk or improve your fitness in the Gym.
Best of all is you can do all of this in the glorious year round sunshine state of Florida.

We stayed 5 days and enjoyed it. Nice home with no issues. Very convenient to parks and close to stores and food. We will be back.
Just had 6 fantastic weeks in this villa This was our 4th return visit to Andrews villa. As usual it was just perfect A really safe community and great location for parks and shopping The two pools are in walking distance from the house the one at clubhouse being heated. We never had reason to call Diane the housekeeper this visit but we did last year over something small and she was there in minutes to help and solved our issue. I would recommend this villa to anybody wanting a good spot to relax after a day at parks or shopping everything u need is at hand. towels/bedding/kitchenware it has it all. Already rebooked for next Xmas roll on December
Enjoyed our stay in this spacious bungalow. All was as expected. It''s a gated community which is good for security reasons but there was a lack of communication between the owner and the security people who did not have my name and refused us entry. This was not the fault of the owner however and thankfully the housekeeper Diane was able to smooth things out and the rest of our stay was fine. That is the only complaint as everything else was fine.
After staying in this villa in 2015, we had to come back to stay in it on our vacation in 2016. Everything that we could have possibly needed was in the house including kitchen supplies and coolers. The screened in back porch was wonderful to relax in after a long day in the parks. It was clean and extremely close to Disney. Andrew was very helpful with any questions we had, and he was very easy to get in touch with. The pool was within walking distance. Whenever we go back to Orlando, we will stay at this villa again. Thank you for the wonderful place to stay during our two trips to Orlando.
The location and community was great. We really liked all of the amenities, the security and overall upkeep of the Vista del Lago community. We were a little disappointed with the overall upkeep of the mobile home. The carpet and furniture is very worn and needs updated. The towels for bathing and showering were also old, overused and mismatched. We would really recommend light colored wash linens that may be replaced periodically. We went to Kohls' and purchased new towels and just took those back home with us. The overall decorations could use a little more coordination and matching. It does not necessarily need a Disney theme, but something consistent would be more "homey" and inviting.
The screen porch was very nice and the backyard was great for letting our dog out and just enjoying the Florida sunshine.
Ants in the kitchen were also a problem and I would recommend having some small ant baits that are harmless to pets and children to have out along the baseboard or kitchen window. We understand the mobile homes are more prone to ants and especially during the summer months. The small ants did make their way in closed boxes, so we used the refrigerator for many food items (box cereals, donuts, chips, crackers, etc.)
We really appreciated that we were able to have our dog with us and the cleaning service does an excellent job in regards to this. We could not tell other pets had stayed in the home; there was not any pet hair, pet odors or anything to let you know that pets were in the home previously.
Overall, the issues are minor in consideration of the price, location and amenities. Just things to think about for updates especially in regards to the linens and possible ant control measures as described. Proximity to Disney and all area attractions was a plus!
Our family of 4 stayed here for our vacation in July. We found the house clean and a great location for our wanderings. We went to Universal for 3 days and it took 30 minutes to get there from the house. Traffic was never an issue for us. We also visited clearwater beach for a day-an hour and half drive. We visited weeki wachi and kayaked for the day and it was an hour and 45 minutes.
The villa was clean and Diane was extremely helpful when we called her! She even went so far as to loan us an extra fan for the week! There were plenty of towels and the washer/dryer was a blessing on this trip. We flew in to Orlando and needed a place with all the conveniences. We made good use of the collapsible cooler and the ice packs in the freezer. We had plenty of hot water and the villa stayed very cool but we did keep the ceiling fans going. The pool was a short walk away and a relaxing way to end a day at the parks. We didn't use the grill but made use of the kitchen and fixed several meals.
WiFi was quick and worked everywhere in the house. We also made good use of the Roku television. Andrew answered all of my questions beforehand and was helpful. It wasn't fancy but it was just what we wanted for our vaca. There was plenty of room to unwind at the end of the day and we all slept soundly each night. Thanks for a great stay Andrew and Diane!

In 2016 this website has introduced a service fee for guests when booking and paying online. This fee is on a sliding scale, and can significantly increase the cost of the rental to guests.
