The Owners, Sam Beale and Mark Edwards have been best friends for over 30 years. We met in college and both have careers in Real Estate Development and Construction Management. We have families who also have a passion for the outdoors, especially hiking, biking, horseback riding, and antique hunting in the North Georgia mountains. This cabin is the perfect weekend retreat within minutes of three wineries, great hiking and biking, and several mountain towns for antique hunting and unique restaurants.

Why Owner chose Cleveland
Our Location could not possibly be better. This cabin has been in the family for nearly 30 years and is the perfect weekend retreat within minutes of many North Georgia mountain attractions. We finally chose to share our mountain get-away with vacationers from all over the country who have the same passion for the outdoor life that we have enjoyed for so long. The view from the private rear deck with spectacular sunset views also overlooks Frogtown Vineyards and Winery, Blackstock Vineyards, and Three Sisters Winery. The location is also central to Helen, Ga., Dahlonega, Ga., and Mount Yonah.
What makes this Cabin unique
The unique benefits of our cabin retreat include a private deck with spectacular sunset views, large horseshoe pits, 2 large outdoor fire pits, and great nearby attractions for fishing, antique hunting, hiking, and biking.

Just what we expected!
This cabin was just what we were wanting! Everything was nice and clean and it's a perfect place to get away from all the hustle and bustle! We were able to visit Dahlonega and Helen without going far!
Great location for exploring wineries
We recently stayed in this cabin with another couple. The cabin is exactly as advertised -- nothing luxurious or large, but having everything we needed. The views off the back porch are great, and the cabin had all of the basics.
The best feature was how close it was to the wineries. Kaya is terrific winery to start or finish your tasting trip and it is just a mile or two around the corner. Several other wineries are just a couple of more miles away.
Our family stayed from 20 May - 28 May 2017, we really enjoyed the cabin and its proximity to Helen and surrounding features. Really nice and quiet with fire pit for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Horse shoe provides extra enjoyment. Would definitely recommend it to others. Owner was available and very helpful.
Wonderful winter weekend in the mountains!
The cabin was the perfect location for our family to gather for Christmas! Everything was as described - beautiful view from the back porch, clean and well maintained, and quite comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen for full family meals, and the location is perfect. It is quiet and private, but not too far from civilization. The owners were very responsive to questions and concerns, and we had a wonderful weekend. I would highly recommend the cabin to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in the North Georgia mountains.
I stayed here with my parents who were visiting from Florida and we had a great weekend, despite some inclement weather and a power outage. The cabin is cozy and well equipped, and the deck off the back is exceptionally nice -- we were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery even in the rain. It's a little off the beaten path, but just a short drive from Cleveland and Cornelia. And Sam was a great + responsive host. Would definitely come back!
Exactly as advertised
My 5 Stars is for an experience exactly in line with what I wanted and expected. This is not a fancy luxury cabin. It is a very nice, clean, cozy and comfortable cabin. I took my wife for her birthday and it was just what we needed. The cabin is secluded enough to give plenty of privacy (some we saw were nearly on top of each other) yet close and convenient to all the attractions in the Helen, Dahlonega, Cleveland area. We visited all 3 cities and got in some excellent hiking as well. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for an affordable and enjoyable get-away.
Approximately 20 minutes from Helen, GA. Approximately 25 minutes from hiking on the Appalachian Trail at Neels Gap / Blood Mountain. Approximately 15 minutes from great hiking and incredible views on Mount Yonah (see photo)
