About Brandon

I am a professional musician and have rehabilitated a few old homes in uptown new orleans that people love to stay at.

Brandon purchased this house in 2004

Why Brandon chose New Orleans

This was the first house I purchased and I lived in it for many years

What makes this house unique

Oak street area is a great area with the maple leaf bar, and Carrolton Station close by, and the coffee shops and restaurants just a block away its a really relaxing, fun area to be in. Never crowded with tourists, its still very centrally located in New Orleans.

Fantastic House and Location

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 6 stayed here and had a wonderful time. The house is very roomy and well appointed, with Brandon and his maintenance person readily available if needed. The neighborhood is quiet and well maintained; we saw nothing "shady" during any of our many walks.

The location is close (within walking distance) to really neat, "local" restaurants, bars and shopping. Everyone we met was very nice and gave us helpful tips about the area - "local" things to see and do. The street car stop was a short walk away and a very convenient way to get to Magazine Street, the Garden District, French Quarter, etc. Roberts Grocery is at the end of the line at South Claiborne & South Carrollton Streets. I recommend buying the 24 hour pass for $3.00 and hop on and off as much as you like. The area is amazing!

We really enjoyed Brandon's house and will stay there in the future. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans.

Good property for a weekend in New Orleans

  • 5 of 5

Visited NO for my son's college graduation and had a great time. We were a party of 6 with two adults over 70. Even though the property is practically 3 stories high we had no issues with the stairs but its something to consider with older folks or little kids. Other than that, the house is in very good shape, clean and all amenities worked. Basic cable and internet worked without a problem. Brandon, the owner, has a handy man available in case of any issues with the property.

If you know NO you know neighborhoods can be great one block and kind of shady the next. This property is right next to Oak street with bars, restaurants and shops on one side and a shady neighborhood on the other, but that is just NO.

If you are looking for a place Uptown close to Loyola or Tulane this is a great place to stay.

Brandon was always available via phone or email.

Nola Graduation Celebration with family

  • 5 of 5

The house is very clean and exactly as promised in description. The neighborhood is quiet with Oak St. close by. We found it useful to use UBER on the the way to convention center and Bourbon St. and took taxis back to house. There were plenty of towels, extra sheets for futon, and TV in every bedroom and living room. We didn't cook but could have with the provided pans and utensils. I wish that there were more wine glasses --we only had two but used our own in our gift bags provided for the graduation celebration. We spent some time on front porch and got to know the adjacent neighbors who were really nice. Brandon was very responsive to email inquiries and everything from booking to checkin/our went very smoothly. I would highly recommend for family or girls' /boys' events. I can't wait to come back.

We loved this house!

  • 5 of 5

This house was very clean and well furnished. We had a group of 8 and we all fit comfortably. It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood and close to a lot of restaurants/bars. We walked to Jacques-Imos, Maple leaf bar and few other bars/restaurants on Oak Street. We took an uber to the French Quarter everyday. The ubers were always at the house within 3 minutes of requesting and it was an inexpensive trip from the house to French Quarter. The owner was very nice, responded quickly to all of my emails, and he was very easy to work with.
