This beautiful apartment is located in a very quiet idyllic location opposite the monastery island of Lokrum, about 1km east of the old town of Dubrovnik, which is also known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic" due to its unique intact medieval structure.
The apartment is located in a lush and absolutely quiet area with many palm trees and other typical Mediterranean plants. Access to the house via several external stairs that belonged to a hotel a long time ago. Thus, the access and the surrounding area exudes the morbid charm of the 50s of the last century. The hillside built holiday home has only one rentable apartment, so that you can watch completely undisturbed by other guests on the large shady private terrace with stunning views of the sea, the old town and the opposite island "Lokrum" the cruise ships, here daily their rounds turn.
The approximately 55 m² large apartment is air conditioned and for max. 4 people suitable. It is divided into 2 parts of the building. The main part of the apartment with living room, kitchen, bathroom with washing machine and bedroom is located in the main house while spacious kitchen is located in a smaller annex and both buildings enclose the terrace. So you look out of the bedroom, the living room and the kitchen on the terrace and the sea. A special feature is the Wi-Fi Internet connection.
The friendly landlady speaks in addition to Croatian also some English and will help you with any questions. Guests are also welcome to prepare breakfast. Pets are also allowed. Children and teenagers have the opportunity to play basketball or football next door. A parking lot can be found on the quiet residential street. If you arrive by plane, a cheap transfer from / to the airport can be organized. The arrival and departure can take place after arrangement and in agreement with existing bookings in principle on each day.
The nearest swimming is the beach "St. James" about 400m to the east or the beach "Banje" on the way to the old town at a distance of about 800m. Dogs are allowed to swim in the area around the former Hotel Bellevue a little to the east or wildly below the house on the rocky beaches.
Dubrovnik's medieval old town can be reached on foot in 10-15 minutes. Alternatively, the city bus that leaves no 100m away and after 2 minutes directly on the eastern Old Town access "Revelin" stops are used.
Dubrovnik's Old Town is world-famous and has a number of architectural attractions, such as the 2km-long, fully accessible Old Town wall, with its many fortress towers that offer great views of the red sea of houses, the Onforio Fountain, the Placa, the Rector's Palace, the Cathedral of the Assumption, the Church of St. Blaise, the column of Roland, the theater and much more Let yourself be enchanted by Dubrovnik and enjoy the many Renaissance and Gothic masterpieces, eat in one of the many restaurants or drink a coffee on the Placa.
Another attraction is the cable car that takes you up to the local mountain "Srd". The view from here on top of Dubrovnik as well as the offshore island world of the Elaphiten is terrific and definitely recommendable. Dubrovnik will be remembered for a long time.
