The Villa has over 7000 square feet of private living in a striking architectural environment decorated with the best from Mexican culture. Family home in Mexico taken care of by the warm, friendly house manager and staff- all of whom are very familiar with the property and surrounding areas.
Julian purchased this villa in 2014
The American architect, Andy Sumners, who has built beautiful homes in PV, captured the spirit of Puerto Vallarta, took advantage of the fantastic vista, and created a totally comforting space.
The fabulous views offer an constantly changing panorama from the tranquility of the sun rising over the ridges of the Sierra Madre Mountains to the activity of the beaches and on the water through-out the day to the truly unbelievable sunsets to the gorgeous lights of town at night. You will be entertained all through-out the day!
Our recent stay at villa Lucia was a very special treat. The villa is absolutely gorgeous. The house staff amazing! Chef Leo was fabulous! Every meal was amazing. I have never stayed in a villa with a. view like Villa Lucia's. It was breathtaking!! Can't wait to go back.
Our family of 8, including our 3 adult children and their spouses and significant others, spent the week of October 8th at Villa Lucia to celebrate a significant birthday and anniversary. From the start, the experience simply exceeded our expectations. We arrived in the afternoon to be warmly greeted by Leo, our Chef; Diego, his assistant and maintenance supervisor; and Letty, the housekeeper, with a tray of delicious and freshly prepared margaritas, guacamole, salsa and chips. The open-air villa itself was even more spacious and beautiful than the photos had revealed, with absolutely breathtaking views of Puerto Vallarta from every room. The size of the bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms and balconies, gave us more than enough room to spread out...the need for privacy was never an issue! The heated infinity pool was a huge attraction, and the place that we gathered as a family each day to celebrate having this special time together. Our concierge, Patty, made arrangements for us to experience some great day trips, including one to Sayulita to satisfy the surfers and paddle boarders in our group, and another, a 3 hour boat cruise to Los Arcos and Mismaloya at sunset...Gorgeous! Patty was also very helpful in arranging rides whenever anyone in our group wanted to explore the city or to go out to dinner in the Romantic Zone, although our most memorable meals were the ones prepared by our chef, Leo, in the villa. Our breakfasts were extraordinary, and the dinners he made for us were beautifully prepared, presented, and by far the most outstanding dining of the week! Diego was always there to provide wonderful service in such a kind and considerate manner, and Letty was lovely and kept the villa absolutely immaculate. By the time we had to leave at the end of the week, we left reluctantly and sadly, hating to say goodbye to this gorgeous place, a wonderful vacation and a staff that we came to love! Will we return? Undoubtedly! Thank you, Patty, Leo, Diego and Letty...you made our visit to Villa Lucia most memorable!
Our stay at Villa Lucia was unbelievable, we were sad to say good-bye! The view of Puerto Vallarta and the ocean were spectacular! Leo, the house chef prepared 5 star meals for breakfast and dinner, there was never any food left on the plate! Diego knew our drinks were getting low before we did and was right there with refills! My sister's 40th birthday will never be forgotten, thank you for making our trip the most memorable yet! We will definitely be coming again!
The home is beautiful and absolutely perfect to celebrate one half century
We filled the house and had others staying nearby, Danielle and William were so very helpful arranging things. The welcome dinner was wonderful. Our flights had us arriving early and William was able to arrange for us to get into the home early which was great.
The sunset views are amazing from the deck, or almost anywhere in the house and the pool is so great to cool off in after a little walk up the hill in the PVR heat.
The breakfasts daily were wonderful also and the chef was very accommodating to our requests.
This was second visit to the house, cannot wait for the next visit!!
This gorgeous villa is the perfect vacation destination. The views, accommodations, service and entertainment were excellent! We stayed with 3 other couples and the amenities were great for each one. Enough privacy and entertaining areas for every need. The pool was a great cool off each day where everyone enjoyed hours of socializing. Gorgeous views! The staff was top notch! We highly recommend the chef experience for dinners. Prices were very affordable and food was beyond delicious!! We would love to return some day!
Make sure you take a day trip to Sayulita! And the Vista Grill was excellent!!!
Property and on - site staff were wonderful. The food service (cooking) was great. Did not appreciate the booking firm Caldwell Banker cutting our reservation short by a day due to "maintenance issues". This would have been perhaps acceptable if there was an offer for another place to stay, but the option was only to give our $ back and basically kicked us to the curb. I've been hearing more and more people getting kicked out of places due to "maintenance issues" as realtor firms are trying to maximize the stays at places and if someone else comes along with more days or a better price they kick you out. I will never use VRBO service again as they force you to pay 100% up front and there is no recourse against this type of thing happening.
Privately situated at the top of the Amapas hillside while just 5 minutes from all the action in the Romantic Zone.
