paradise in the mountains

  • 5 of 5

This was my second stay in the Cabin at the Vineyards. I love the location with the cool mornings and evenings. The wildlife is abundant and the birds enjoy the beautiful old trees. A few things that were bothersome was the water pressure in the shower could be better and while showering the water temperature changed to extremely hot. The bed in the main bedroom could use a new mattress and the couch was not very comfortable. Overall, my stay was enjoyable.

Total luxury in a an Idyllic setting

  • 5 of 5

Kathy and Tom have such a beautiful cabin with total privacy and great views. The cabin is extremely well w equipped especially the kitchen. We had planned on eating out but with the long days and warm weather we just stayed there. Very nice family run wineries within close distance add to charm. Great hosts and highly recommended. solitude

  • 5 of 5

Great home for couples' or girls' get away. Kathy has taken tender loving care of her home. Immaculate. Comfortable. Hot shower or soak in the tub. Peaceful surroundings and tucked away in the country, yet accessible to the beach or Roseburg/Umpqua River area (within 30 mins). Wineries nearby. Great jumping off locale. Kitchen had what we needed to make our meals. DISH TV for veging at night. Kathy was kind to leave a bottle of wine and very responsive to our questions during our stay, as well as a wealth of information of things to do in the area. Great memories with my friend.

Wonderful peaceful place

  • 5 of 5

We stayed only for 2 nights, but what a delightful place it was.

The host was super helpful and met us to find the house

It was quiet and peaceful with a sky full of stars! The house was spotless and had everything we needed.

We travelled with 2 young children , 5 & 7 but that was perfect. We love the outdoors and since there are no bugs, it was wonderful

Thank you!

Incredible Location for a Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying at the Cabin at the Vineyards.....it was peaceful, had the room we needed for an extended stay, and Kathy was so gracious! The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. I recommend this place for both short-term and long-term stays.

The cabin was very clean and homey and the location was out of town but not too far.

We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere outside and watching the deer and wild turkeys walk through the yard. Morning coffee was enjoyed on the porch listening to the singing birds and the rustling in the trees from the gray squirrel. We didn't cook in the kitchen but everything was available to do so. The couch was not comfortable. The soaker tub is great for people who love them. When showering, we found it hard to get in and out of the tub. Also there was no place to put personal items while showering like shampoo, conditioner or bath soap.

Overall the cabin is a nice place to stay.
