This is a wonderful craftsman style 1200 sq. feet cabin on a 70 acre pioneer farm and vineyard site located in the Umpqua Valley wine country. The old farm setting was the site of the 1890's Hayhurst Valley Schoolhouse. The area was originally settled by Oregon Trail pioneers and is located on the Applegate Trail.
An excellent property for the artist or the seeker of solitude with access to the Oregon Coast, museums, restaurants, wineries and cultural centers all within a 45 minute drive.
Horse Corral for 2 horses.
Between Eugene and Roseburg in the Umpqua Valley Wine country.

We stayed only for 2 nights, but what a delightful place it was.
The host was super helpful and met us to find the house
It was quiet and peaceful with a sky full of stars! The house was spotless and had everything we needed.
We travelled with 2 young children , 5 & 7 but that was perfect. We love the outdoors and since there are no bugs, it was wonderful
We loved staying at the Cabin at the Vineyards.....it was peaceful, had the room we needed for an extended stay, and Kathy was so gracious! The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. I recommend this place for both short-term and long-term stays.
We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere outside and watching the deer and wild turkeys walk through the yard. Morning coffee was enjoyed on the porch listening to the singing birds and the rustling in the trees from the gray squirrel. We didn't cook in the kitchen but everything was available to do so. The couch was not comfortable. The soaker tub is great for people who love them. When showering, we found it hard to get in and out of the tub. Also there was no place to put personal items while showering like shampoo, conditioner or bath soap.
Overall the cabin is a nice place to stay.
Simply put, this place is truly a gem. The cabin is well appointed with wonderful furniture and decor, very comfortable. It's the outside that steals the show. Stunning scenery, gorgeous trees and vineyards. If you are looking to unplug and unwind, this is the place.
What a beautiful, clean and well-stocked vacation home! Everything you need, private, quiet and definitely a good place for a romantic getaway. My only complaint would be that there were so many rules including that the owners don't want you exploring the property. If you want to bring your horses and ride them on the property, explore the vineyard and the old buildings or hike the advertised 70+ acres- you cannot. However, if you are looking for a romantic getaway in a clean and beautiful home which the owners really do an amazing job of maintaining- this is a great place. And that bath tub is absolutely heavenly.
A wonderful place surrounded by vineyards and forest. The house was very clean and well furnished. The owners were very friendly and helpful. It is a great place to enjoy the piece and quiet of the countryside.
