Perfect place to get away from it all.
We went for a Mother’s Day girls trip and had a fantastic time. The home is equipped with everything we needed and then some. We spent quite a bit of time on the front porch drinking our morning coffee or closing the evening with a glass of wine.
I recall a previous review commenting on star gazing, and they were not kidding. I honestly can’t remember when I’d been able to see so many stars. It was so incredibly beautiful.
The beds could use some new mattresses and the couch isn’t terribly comfortable but it is nothing that would prevent us from renting this home again.
Tidy, Organized, Quiet, Perfect
My husband and I take an Anniversary trip, just the two of us, every year. This year was number 18, so we have some experience with rentals. Kathy is super organized and had all the angles covered. From personally escorting us to what would be a super difficult place to find on your own to restaurant menus and vineyard brochures for all the local haunts. Being from the city, the quiet solitude of her cabin was welcome as were the stars and deer that greeted us each evening. Highly recommended. Thanks, Kathy.
We strive to inform our guests about the area and the property to enhance the enjoyment of their visit to the Umpqua Valley.
Best wishes to you for many more anniversary trips!
What a peaceful place to stay. Host was very gracious. House was very clean and comfortable.
We loved our stay at the cabin.
My friends and I loved staying at the cabin. We really enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the property, it was so relaxing and peaceful. We had wild turkeys, deer, and a barn owl visit us. We enjoyed visiting the nearby wineries, it was an amazing girls weekend. Kathy was very friendly and helpful with the tour of the home upon arrival. I'm sure I will be staying here again.
paradise in the mountains
This was my second stay in the Cabin at the Vineyards. I love the location with the cool mornings and evenings. The wildlife is abundant and the birds enjoy the beautiful old trees. A few things that were bothersome was the water pressure in the shower could be better and while showering the water temperature changed to extremely hot. The bed in the main bedroom could use a new mattress and the couch was not very comfortable. Overall, my stay was enjoyable.
Total luxury in a an Idyllic setting
Kathy and Tom have such a beautiful cabin with total privacy and great views. The cabin is extremely well w equipped especially the kitchen. We had planned on eating out but with the long days and warm weather we just stayed there. Very nice family run wineries within close distance add to charm. Great hosts and highly recommended.
