Casa Aurora on Modica was born from the renovation of an Eighteen-Hundred house located in the Cartellone scenic area, an utmost quiet neighborhood, almost totally for pedestrians only. Perfect synthesis of tradition and modern comforts, with characteristic local pitch stone flooring, bathrooms clad in stone and traditional ceramics, it has a kitchen with stone flooring and Caltagirone wall-cladding tiles. The apartment is furnished with a sophisticated mix of modern and antique furniture. The balconies are unique and the upper turret has a large terrace at 360 degrees above the historical center of Modica, which is breathtaking: from here you can enjoy a priceless view. The orange color suggests the aurora and the sunset as well, on the city scene with its large Baroque churches, with vibrant chiming clock and solemn bells.
It's the ideal starting point for visiting the Baroque towns, Unesco heritage in southeastern Sicily as well as beaches and fishing villages of both the Ionian coast and that of the Malta Channel. The use of native and original materials will make you relive the emotions of the past in a nice environment made with attention to the details and very unique. You can relax on the terrace, dine there by candlelight and even tan and refresh.
Features The air-conditioned apartment consists of a wide living room with a fireplace, one master bedroom, one walk-in closet, two bathrooms, one kitchen, one large terrace and two balconies and upper small bedroom. Equipped with WiFi, safe, alarm system, fridge, stove, dishwasher, hairdryer, double bed and two sofa beds. On the floor below, accessible by road, the unit is equipped with a laundry with washing machine, sink and toilet with washbasin, wc and bidet.
