About The Owner

Blossom Hill Farm has been owned by the family for many years. It is our family retreat, in the mountains of Pennsylvania, where our family meets to enjoy our private paradise! The homestead has been completely restored. Our niece, Emmy Award Winning Actress Natalia Livinston, uses the farm for rest and relaxation. Our website and additional information about the rental can be viewed by clicking on the link below.

The Owner purchased this house in 1966

Why The Owner chose Pleasantville

Blossom Hill Farm is a family homestead retreat. This 19th century farm house has been completely restored. The house is surrounded by 263 acres of prime land. From the Grand Porch, that seats 150, one has a panoramic view of sunsets and sunrises. In addition, one can view the tree-covered lanes, orchards, rolling hills, and pond. From on top of the hill, there are views of Blair, Bedford and Somerset counties. Step back in time and create your perfect vacation memory!

What makes this house unique

Blossom Hill Farm offers lots of acres for your hiking enjoyment. As you walk, enjoy the scenery and all the wild life. Or take a 4-wheel drive vehicle over the property so that you can enjoy this wonderful paradise. In addition, one can enjoy the fall leaves in autumn, ski at Blue Knob in the winter, view the colorful blossoms in the spring, and enjoy swimming/fishing at Shawnee State Park in the summer. Rest and relax with the state-of-the-art facilities and tremendous views!

Guestbook comments from the owner

The rooms were large and spacious. There was plenty of parking available. The grounds were well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. We enjoyed sitting on the large wrap around porch and taking in the view of the beautiful countryside. While the house appears to have been built at the turn of the 20th Century, it has been renovated and has all of the modern conveniences. We would definitely stay there again.

A Mountain Thanksgiving!

  • 5 of 5

A wonderful stay at Blossom Hill Farm for the holiday. The farmhouse had plenty of room for our group of nine. The scenery was fantastic and the location- quiet! Everything was as advertised and the beds were very comfortable. The facility was more than adequate to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner. We hope to make the trip again. Thanks.

We spent 3 days at Blossom Hill Farm having a mini reunion. Blossom Hill Farm is just perfect for a family getaway. The house was clean and the accommodations were even better than the photos! The grandkids had the best time playing on the lawn and seeing chickens, cows and other animals just meandering along. It was all just magical!

Can't Wait to Go Back!!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I spent a memorable long weekend at the Blossom Hill Farm in August. The farm house is absolutely beautiful, clean and welcoming. The property is well taken care of. The children had so much fun running around the pond, fishing, watching the cows and chasing the birds. They didn’t want to leave. We ended each day by walking up the hill to where you can look into three different counties and see the sunset… amazing! If you are in need of some peace and relaxation, I highly recommend a visit to Blossom Hill Farm. We can’t wait to return!

Blossom Hill Farm is an amazing get-away spot. The Farm house is beautiful and clean, the wrap-around porch makes for such a relaxing atmosphere. The land and views were awe inspiring. One of my favorite spots was the kitchen, there is plenty of room for the whole family to sit and relax! A must see/stay venue!!!!

Wonderful rental house and location! We truly enjoyed the evenings out on the large porch overlooking the property and the spacious house. The people we dealt with were very friendly - we hope to stay again in the future.

What a wonderful place out in the country. The rocking chairs on the porch were perfect to sit with a glass of wine and watch the clouds roll by and the cows stroll by. The farm house was very clean and had everything that we needed. We will be coming back in the fall, if you will let us! Thank you so much for sharing your place with us. We had dinner at The Union Hotel - a bit of a drive (about 40 minutes) but was absolutley worth it. The food was outstanding!
