About the owner: I am enjoying retirement after a career in real estate brokerage. Making jams, jellies, pickles and relishes from my husband's farm is a seasonal hobby, and I love traveling. Jimmy and I love our Couples' Sunday School Class. Mah Jongg and Bridge are fun times with the girls and WE play Spades and Mexican Train with our wonderful friends. Our family consists of one adult son and a spoiled Jack Rat named Sally and the farm dog Lola. All of our pets have adopted us or we them. Always living within an hour's drive of Oxford, we feel very blessed to have called Oxford our home for over 30 years.
Why the Owner Chose Oxford, MS, USA:
The property is so well located to all the things folks love about Oxford - The Square, Ole Miss, the VERY BEST restaurants anywhere, William Faulkner's home, Tail Gating in The Grove, Antique Shops, and a community that will welcome you with open arms. The condo was built by a quality builder with a great reputation, so I knew the property would be well constructed and much attention would be paid to detail.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The little house is as cozy as can be, and it is a leisurely walk to the Library (a walk from the property through the back yard and you are there), Antique Malls, Hair Dresser, Nail Spa, Florist, The Square, Gym, Tennis Courts, 3 Pharmacies, Grocery, and Park. It is so clean and freshly done. You will love sitting on the shaded deck and/or patio surrounded by large old oaks in the mornings to have your coffee or relax with a book at the Gazebo. Everything is there that one could possibly need, so it is so convenient to stay overnight without the hassle of packing a lot of things to lug back when you leave. In the winter the fireplace is so nice to snuggle up to on a cool night. There are televisions in both bedrooms and the living room. It is such a darling, well decorated, clean place to escape when you want to be quiet and rest. WiFi has been added for our guests. Convenient 3 car designated parking at the front door as well as designated guest parking. If you would like to exchange properties for a week, please call. We would love to exchange for your vacation property.
